Siggy going - to Stale !

http://fotbolti.net/news/23-11-2013/solbakken-vill-fa-bjorn-til-kaupmannahafnar

Never been very convinced personally, another Stale waste of money.

i think when it comes to history and football clubs you should either ignore it all and just look at the current year: albion are better than us

or look at the entirety of the 125 years: we are better than albion

form is temporary, class is permanent

They know that - albeit buried deep in their calloused hearts. This is why they are so insanely bitter.

Teams from Belgium, Netherlands, Sweden and Norway have all enquired about him.

Why?

Ummm because he clearly has a lot of ability.

Siggy may have ability, Cinci. Sadly, that is anything but clear as he has failed to demonstrate this in a season and a half in the second and third tiers of English football.

Of Stale's signings, all except Sako have failed. Sako does have ability and shows it on a regular basis, however you are forever on Sako's back and regularly suggest that Wolves would be a better team without him, yet you support Siggy ad-nauseam.

I don't get it!

Nobody in their right mind would consider buying Sig if their club is above English League One level.

To spend £2.4m - insanity.

There are plenty of clubs in Holland, Sweden, Belgium -even Spain - that are no better quality than English Skrilla standard. Indeed, there are hundreds of them. There are hundreds of them in England.

To just name nations - and hope people will subliminally be thinking Ajax - is devious and disingenuous.

Not impressed.

Stale will spend big bucks on him again you wait and see. He has got a thing about Siggy's hair.

In one corner, the Wolves, who have won more league titles than Albion due to a Forest and Derby-esque brief period in the 50's where they were good. A feat not done before by them and never to be repeated.
In the other corner, the Albion who have won more Cups than Wolves, have a better head-to-head record and have spent more time in top-flight football, a feat that is, as we speak, improving year-on-year...

The gap grows.....

A good point yesterday btw, against an in-form Brentford...

Siggy's game looks non descript at the moment, and now he has had his haircut so does he. If he is heading back to Scandinavia he might need to grow it back for insulation

i suspect any club that is looking at siggy will be after him on loan or free. copenhagen haven't paid us for pizzaman yet, so let's not get too excited by the chance of a transfer that would benefit us in the near future. i can't imagine they, or any of the clubs in belgium, norway, holland etc., come close to the £2.4m valuation - so we are looking at keeping him as 4th choice striker or taking a big hit on him in the books as a loss.

i think wolves will be after a striker in january (a target man or a proven goal scorer like wells) which is likely to make sig 4th choice. with mcalinden still to come back into the squad, he has to see his chances getting more and more limited unless he can find some kind of form in the next few weeks. like most of us i still hope he can step up and start scoring or at least having some kind of more consistent impact on the side. otherwise he may be joining the ranks of flo, roussel and frankowski as expensive foreign flops.
