Is this on loan or a permanent transfer?

Teams from Belgium, Netherlands, Sweden and Norway have all enquired about him.

Why?

Its looking more and more like he wont make the breakthrough in English football so a return to Scandinavia might be a good move for him. We would lose a lot of money on him cause I cant believe someone who cant get into a League One team will attract much of a fee at all, but there comes a time when its not enough just to be referred to as promising. Its sad cause you cant help feeling there is a player in there, but Jackett has given him quite a few chances recently and he has been pretty much a passenger in all of those games

Stale must have one of the worst transfer records in history. We could have nearly ten million in the bank if we hadn't bought anybody except Sako... And we would be absolutely no worse off.

Siggy seems like a poor man's Keogh, or is that a bit harsh?

Harsh on Keogh, Wulfrun.

Great news - he gets some of his dross back

Only an idiot would disagree.

Erm.......the games do seem to pass him bye !

He needs to man up a bit if you ask me, he drives around in his Audi R8 and goes missing in games when we need him most..............I don't like to slag off any wolves player for obvious reasons! but enough is enough

For the record......the last time I felt like this about any player it was Sam Vokes ....

For me it was Billy Kellock

Billy Rafferty for me.

Halfman - if Siggy goes driving around in his Audi R8 during a match, I'm not surprised fans are peeved.

Ummm because he clearly has a lot of ability.
And as for the other daft suggestion picked up in this thread about ''as he cant get into a league one team''
Well Doyle who cost us 6.5 million and Griffo who was Scotlands player of the season, oh the shame

I hope he goes, he deserves better than the support he is getting here, quite possible he will be playing in Europe at the end of Feb if he goes to Copenhagen as well

Sorry about cinci's daft comments above but he tries his best.

Siggy cant get into a league one team so he is not going to fetch much of a transfer fee at all. Anyone who can tell me what is daft about this comment welcome to hear it.

Tell you what cinci to save you an ounce of credibility if Siggy gets sold for more than a quarter of what we paid for him 16 months ago I will give you back half the money you own me for the bet you had with me about Stephen Ward.

Billy Kellock - saw him score at Derby and Charlton. He was another 'missing piece' of the world domination jigsaw.

Absolute shìte.

Played some of the 82-83 season under Hawkins. Looking at his record of 3 in 17, I saw all his goals for Wolves.

Though the effort at Derby went in off about 8 players.

Billy Rafferty also mentioned

Danny Crainie
Scott McGarvey

Seems to be a theme of Scottish failures up front.

billy kellock, there's a name to bring back a few nightmares from my youth. it is always sobering to look back at those early 80s sides and see how many players i must have watched but cannot remember a single thing about.

in a few years time, siggy might well fit into that category if he doesn't knuckle down and turn some talent into performances.

reminding me very much of sam vokes at present: not commanding enough for his size, not quick enough or fit enough for his age and not making the most of his chances in the team or in front of goal. the difference is that vokes impressed in league one but failed to step up for several seasons, whereas siggy has slipped DOWN to league one and still can't do enough to merit any more than the odd 10 minute cameo. i still think he may do well in the future but can wolves afford to hold onto a player on quite high wages who is looking like our fourth choice striker?

83-85 were the graveyard years. Went to loads of games in that era but eventually had enough - with 20,000 others - as crowds plummeted to 3,000.

I don't take it for granted that those days can't return, albeit in a ground with four sides.

Danny Crannie promised a lot, and excited the crowd.
