£32 million profit in transfers over

the last 5 seasons including this one.

What could we have done if we had a huge net spend of £1.

Is there a big pot of money sitting there waiting to be spent?

Suppose when it comes to money & board its not always kenwrights fault. For right or wrong I like the guy most of the time but imo he is more of a poster boy as far as being chairman goes. Does he actually make any of the important decisions?

I think people see Chairman as a person who just chucks money in. But this is only true in sole ownership.
Wonder how many shareholders would want to match his "called for" cash injection share for share.

£30m/35, 000 shares =£850 per share owned.

I am going to repeat myself again.

Over the last 5 years over £32 million pounds profit in player transactions has been made by Everton FC.

Where is that money or what has that money been used for?.

I have asked for a slush fund of a pound more than net over a 5 year period to be given to our managers to try and strengthen our squad. If our chairman and shareholders cannot get a finance deal in place for said 20 pence a season then they could have asked me,I'd have funded the next 5 years worth of transfer fund up front.

If the last 5 years is the state of things to come, then expect the worse, these last few years may be our golden years in the Premiership.

Another worry is,that Whelan at Wigan has backed Martinez more financially than the shareholders at Everton. If Martinez does well then I'm sure a club with funds will look far more appealing to any young aspirational manager

Arouna, Earl? I thought he was the guy that has made millions of loans to Kenwright for player purchase or so the rumour goes. Along with that wasn't it also said that if Earl ever asked for everything back in one go we would go bust.

Mart,
How can earl make money from Kenwright? He is making money from the club....unless it is only Bill taking these loans out to fund player purchase, hten you should question the judgement of the board for allowing this to happen?

Phil,

The shareholders now have an AGM....so lets look at each and every shareholder and aportion balme to every single one for not allowing a net transfer fund. They money is not going to dividend payment....as again no payment was made. So without looking into this fully, the £32M you mention must go to cover club running costs.

Did earl make loans to kenwright or the club?

Our club debt now stands at over £46million according to our last set of accounts(2012) that is up £8million over the previous 4 seasons. So we have made £20 million on players sales over a period where our debt increased by £8 million.

Let's hope we can produce a Rooney,Rodwell or a Barkley every season, perhaps then we can clear our debts in 20 years time and have a net spend of a quid to improve our situation

Phil. As you want a positive net transfer spend do you propose the playing side be seperate from the rest of the club?

Mr R. The accounts will say who the loan was from and too. But if they are to Kenwright and repaid by Kenwright then he has invested.
