I'm not talking about how you got involved with the sport but literally why do you like it?
What aspects of the sport make you a fan?
Why do you like boxing?

Also if you aint noticed this is called a 'boxing forum' discussing mma on here is like discussing premier league football on a football conference forum! Im not doubting the ground skills on show there are pretty impressive at times even if it is rubbish to watch, but the standup fighting is usualy crude and unsafisticated, often reminding of a carpark fight on a saturday night! The two sports are a million miles apart and they often attracts a different type of individual!

Boxing just caught my imagination as a kid. Based on a simple premise really. Who's the hardest?
Then as I watched you learn about the fighters, their styles their persona's and all sprinkled with a lot of hype and glitz. I was a kid in the times of the Four Kings, and the fights between them got me hooked.
MMA left me cold. The pure skill involved in boxing mesmerised me and still does.
