What does that say about his future at Utd ?
He has barely played for Utd since his transfer and correct me if I'm wrong he is yet to play two games in a row ?
Surely with Csrrick and Jones out he has to start tonight. Would be astonishing if he is left out.
Like to think the big guy can be important player for us but signs are even Moyes has no faith in him now.
if Fellaini doesn't start tonight

SLM, if you put as much effort into supporting United players as you do into slating them then maybe you wouldn't be seen as such a joke on here.

What players do I slate? I'm calling things as I see them.

Attacking Midfielder or Support striker...Moyes is playing him in a role for United that he never played him in at Everton...clueless

Fellaini has played as a DM for you before in 2009 and 2010. Moyes is on record as saying he was one of the best in the league back then.

SLM - Moyes didnt bid for Fellaini last minute out of panic as some would suggest.
-------------------------
Errrrr yes he did
He had a release clause that expired not long before nearly 5 million less than we paid for him 5 minutes before the transfer window shut
Our main targets were elsewhere and although it did seem Moyes wanted Fellaini, it was clearly for a smaller fee than the release clause.
If Fellaini was a main target, we would have activated the release clause as soon as the window opened and took him on tour.
We ended up paying over the odds at the last minute because we couldn't get our other targets. Cesc was clearly the main one.

One could also say that fellaini's poor form is another fallout of the summer transfer window. If he was a number one target for them why did they wait till the last day to sign him. If he'd been signed at the end of last season he would have had a whole preseason including the asian tout to bed in and he also wouldn't have been cup tied for the leage cup. Instead he's had to try hit the ground running which obviously isn't working out for the lad.

They got him late as they had hoped to get him cheaper than they did as they clealy expected to sign other players as well. We bid for Fabregas and Hererra but they would have been in addition to Fellaini rather than instead of. My understanding was Khedia was a very late bid.
Everton used Fellaini as a support striker as they had no better option there. United dont need him in that role. Moyes and Fellaini have both said they see his best position as CM/DM.

I seem to remember Fellaini flourishing in a deeper role for Everton, especially in his 2nd season with them when they suffered some injuries I think. No?
Either I'm horribly mistaken or else you being an Everton supporter I take it, have completely forgotten this.
And wasn't his natural position at Liege a central midfielder, not an advanced one?

Yeah Yeah

On the WUM I see.
When we looked like we might get Fellaini, we all watched his first few games for Everton where he played as a CM/DM.
I remember me and Robb rebating it extensively with Robb saying his head was "not in the right place" which was why he was so poor there.

fellaini definitely played deeper when that Aussie Cahill was there
Cahill would play behind Saha or another striker. Think that was Fellaini's first season?

I'd rather united signed djemba djemba for forty million than play Fellaini
