Phil Neville said he is nervous, and you can tell on the pitch.

Well its about time he manned upna bit he has been here for months now...

No offence to Fellaini but still being nervous after 3 or 4 months thats poor.

maybe its the game to kickstart him, wanting to prove a point to his old teamates, clutching at straws i know but gt to keep believing

Fiver on a Lukaku hattrick. When do we ever do well against big strong strikers?

Everton would refuse. They don't need him.

I'd actually be very happy if we did that

What it does show is that Moyes has the bálls to drop anyone who is out of form. Most managers would be persisting with such a big money signing.

that said, I think he will play tonight, it might only take 1-2 games to get him in the right frame of mind and start making alot of people here look like the impatient mugs they are showing themselves to be.

Impatient mugs or people sick of seeing a big money signing put in no effort?

as I've said many times before, I wouldn't mind if he put in effort and played poor but he's actually putting in not much effort on top of being a useless plank....

At least someone like Valencia who was ridiculously poor last season was still putting in 110% effort. Can't say the same about fellaini

That's just group mind talk, in my opinion.

against City, he was overrun and looked lost, but other games, he has put himself about the pitch like any other CM player. Once the group mind activated though, they look for ANY example of him moving slowly...

Watch any other CM and you will see them walking or jogging at times, but away from the group mind microscope, people don't cry about it.

At the end of the day. Fllaini just doesn't have the ability required at the highest level.

He got sent off in spain for doing exactly what you say he isn't doing 'putting effort in'

According to Neville and Moyes he has struggled with fitness upto now.

I think he will play tonight and a game against his old club could be the match thats sparks him into life. I certainly hope so as a third of the way through his first season he has been poor.

No he didn't. He got sent off for being too slow and making a needless tackle.

Spart him into life to become what? Lets be realistic.

On the ball he is average. He isn't EVER EVER EVR going to be a Yaya Toure/Roy Keane/Patrick Vieira calibre of player.

Spark him into life as in injecting a bit of urgency into his game. Phil Neville bascially said they want him playing box to box, sticking his foot in and getting on the end of crosses at both ends of the pitch. I agree he is not going to be the calibre of Keane, Viera or Toure but he can certainly play better than he has been. Did anybody claim suggest he would be of that calibre?

yeh in between strutting around at a snails pace he decided to challenge for a couple of balls and got himself sent off. Fair enough...

When he was at Everton we couldn't fo anything with him at all and now he's at Utd we still can't do anything with him.

posted on 4/12/13

The way i see it, like it or not he is our player now, and whilst he has been poor, he can only improve and i am confident Moyes will get him performing. No he is not going to be the next Roy Keane or Paul Scholes but he can still improve our current CM.

If only we'd have got rid of those useless lumps, Vidic and Evra after their poor starts in a UTD shirt..... and as for the crab Carrick.

Why do our managers insist on giving a player a fair chance
