This was posted on another forum, not sure if this has been mentioned on here, apologies if it has. Not saying it's true but no real reason for it not to be. If it is true, it's quite an interesting insight and makes some sense tbh........
As most of you know, I was invited to watch the game last Friday in the Director's Box by Fawaz due to my recent bad health. Unfortunately, when I arrived, I was informed that he had flown to America as his mother-in-law is very ill and being treated out there. But in true Fawaz style, he had lined up another Forest employee for me to spend the game with and that chap was Jim Price.
Jim Price is a short, bearded Glaswegian who introduced himself as "the man with many job titles" and came across as an incredibly decent man although it took just minutes to discover that he is incredibly shrewd. Having taken me to see the European Cups and introduced me to both Billy Davies and Roy Keane (who was there to see Cox and Reid), we sat down to eat dinner before the game. We then discussed a number of topics, some of which really shocked me to hear. I asked his permission to share them and he said it was fine to do so, so here you go...
Ishmail Miller - It has been his personal top priority to get this guy out on loan. He is considered to be the single worst bit of business this club has made due to his extraordinary wages. Jim confirmed that he is on £16.5k per week.
Marcus Tudgay - Why was he offered a contract? Well, Marcus' contract was coming to an end and he was recovering from injury. His agent couldn't get him a deal anywhere so Forest decided, rather charitably, to give him a 1 year contract with the view to getting him out on loan to put himself in the shop window. "He only asked for tiny wages. League 2 money."
Nathan Chalobah - His attitude is appauling. He won't put the graft in during training and he doesn't get on with the rest of the squad. He has an enormous ego ever since he signed his new Chelsea contract and Forest don't want him. Forest are actively trying to get him recalled (if they do it, it is expensive). We are paying £14k per week for him.
Djamal Abdoun - "He's a mercenary. He doesn't give a damn about the club." Jim Price has said he was signed by Fawaz. His attitude is not great BUT he is very very talented. Billy believes he can get him into shape, not physically, but personally. They will keep working with him. He is open about being at Forest to get himself a move to the Premiership, nothing else.
Karl Darlow - Releasing Lee Camp and giving Karl his chance was in no way Alex McLeish's decision. Fawaz made the call with the other management.
Dan Harding - Jim Price said that neither he nor Billy believe Harding is anywhere good enough to replace Cohen at left back and that the only players they really went after in the final few days of the loan window were left backs as this was their major priority. At full time Jim attributed all 3 goals to Harding's poor positional play.
David Vaughan - They are currently negotiating the permanent signing of Vaughan. They wanted to sign him in the summer but wouldn't do so until they had a decision on Geddi. The whole thing was too last minute in the end.
Liam Bridcutt - No truth in us trying to sign him at all.
Charlie Austin - We had agreed the deal for him and agreed personal terms. He was at Leicester Forest East service station when he was called by his agent with an offer from QPR. He and his agent had signed 16 of the 17 documents required to sign a player and the final one was to be signed after his medical which was about to happen when he called the club and said he was going to QPR.
Gary Hooper - We offered £6.5m for him but were unable to agree personal terms as he wanted Premier League football.
Graham Dorrans - No truth in us trying to sign him in the loan window. We tried to sign him in the summer but West Brom wanted £3m for him and he wouldn't agree to it. We did not try to sign him in the loan window. All press speculation. Neither did Reading by the way.

I may even find myself agreeing with SHH on this one; it has "Jom" written all over it!

Sounds like sheep dis-information to me; the only part that may ring true concerns Tudgay imo.

The Tudgay part is as ridiculous as the rest.

RFB, the most believable part of that BS is your football club being a charity?!

The Miller one sounds true, but my three year old niece could've told you that.
