all our sigings have been really poor so far. Only Spurs could spend 100m and end up as a worse team. Not writing off all of them but I think Paulhino is average nothing more, Capoe is average nothing more, Chadli is rubbish, Eriksen has some potential but not right now. Lamela who knows cannot believe he is our record signing he looks like some kids we just brought through the reserves. Soldado, very poor yes he gets hardly any service but his touch is poor and he hardly ever get involved in a game, he is simply not a dangerous player.
Back to the drawing board for us.

They may not have been playing the 'Spurs way' but it does take time for players to settle particularly when they come in from abroad.They never gave AVB a fair crack at it.

Spurs were lacking creativity and goals the tail end of last season it was only because we had Bale that it was not noticed.
We had no efforts against Pool yesterday a team we swept aside at the lane last season, same with west ham, same with newcastle.
WHL used to be a tough place to come, now we just stink out the place. Have we actually played well once this season in the league. I can only think of Norwich all our other wins have been touch and go, could have gone either way.

Bring back Keith Burkenshaw,
For me BAE and Ade should never be allowed on club property ever again.
======================
I was asked (as I took it) to name the best team that could be available, and as BAE is better than Naughton, JV (at LB) and Rose, I would pick him at LB.
And Ade is better than Soldado, and we just look more creative when he (or Defoe) plays.
If we're putting player personalities into it then neither Lennon or Walker would play, as ive met them, and they're arrogant ars-eholes.
But they would always be considered for my team from this group of players.
I agree though, I doubt there is any way back for Ade or BAE now.

I'm quite optimistic about Rose Chicken
Sure he's got a lot to learn, but he looked impressive before his injury.
==================
I agree but I still think BAE is the better out the 2. Simple as that for me. He should never have been loaned out. And when Rose was injured we should have got him back (if possible).
Its just a really strange managerial decisions - and one many of us predicted would come back to haunt us.

Without meaning to be funny, Lamela didn't play well for River Plate. He was a a starting 11 player that was part of them being relegated for the first time in their history.
At Roma he was decent...but so is Gervinho!

How old was he at River Plate? 18-19. Managing to stand out and getting snapped up by one of Europe's largest teams at that age is pretty impressive to me.

Some of AVB's signings can come good. Give a new manager time and he can keep Tottenham in the top half
