Hi all
Hopefully you can give a fellow Rams fan a little help.
I am a season ticket holder but since I have always worked on Pride Park, parking on a match day has never been an issue. I will be leaving my current job as of the end of this month and was wondering about where is good to park?
I will be coming from Borrowash/Ockbrook area and ideally want to be able to get back on to the Notts bound A52 coming home without having to head into town first. I don’t mind paying and was wondering about the Fireplace store. Does anyone currently park there for match days and can anyone let me know what sort of time I need to be there to get a space?
Any other suggestions are welcome too!
Thanks all
Match day Parking...

Cheers guys, glad to hear it sounds like there are a few options. Never would have thought of the Travelodge.

Best thing about the Travelodge, of course, is it's where I go. Also, 666 has already made his bi-annual visit.

Ive used the travelodge as well. You could park on London Road which is free and a 10/15 min walk to the ground but you have to be there by 2ish or all the spaces are gone.

I Park in Chad on the main road
You can walk over the A52 via a footbridge
Takes 20 minutes but you are quickly onto the A52 Notts bound

You people should car-share: more beer for the non-driver, cost savings AND better for the environment which I think we all agree is a priority.
Someone should organise the 606 car share scheme.
Won't somebody PLEASE think of the planet?!!

Blimey 666 has Vidals Christmas Carol worried you so much that you are now trying to garner votes from Greenpeace supporters for POTY

Take the bus, go down town afterwards, karaoke on the bus back home. No problem parking, no drink driving, environmentally friendly.

There's plenty of the lefty, liberal tree-hugger types on here, most of whom are v. dull's core voting bloc; if I break that, then I've got him. He'd most likely panic and get desperate, making racist jokes and stuff, and then it's done.

Go to a pub that puts a bus on. Usually £3 plus £30 for beer.
