I always park at DW Sports. It's a little bit of a free-for-all but it's free and I've never failed yet. I get there about an hour before k.o.
They make you wait 30 mins after final whistle before you can leave the car park. You can head straight for the A52 from there.
Travelodge is £5 but again better off letting traffic go for half hour
Coffee in the Travelodge after the game if you are driving - £1-95 for unlimited cups.
Cheers guys, glad to hear it sounds like there are a few options. Never would have thought of the Travelodge.
Thanks
Not quite on topic but I'd like to complain about the velodrome side parking. We were persuaded to buy parking tickets on that side but were never told we would be kept back at the end to allow pedestrians and buses to get out first.
The parking access was clearly designed by a lunatic. Of course they should segregate pedestrians from vehicles but surely crossing all three categories could have been avoided from the start.
Toys 'R' Us charge £4.
I park up past Sainsbury's (straight thru roundabout and offices on right) - about 20 mins walk from ground.
I also come from the Ockbrook/Borrowash area and after each game get straight out with NO delays

Best thing about the Travelodge, of course, is it's where I go. Also, 666 has already made his bi-annual visit.
I think Bubbles health gym...near the train station has free parking...
if you sample their.....delights..i'm sure they won't charge for parking....
Ive used the travelodge as well. You could park on London Road which is free and a 10/15 min walk to the ground but you have to be there by 2ish or all the spaces are gone.
I Park in Chad on the main road
You can walk over the A52 via a footbridge
Takes 20 minutes but you are quickly onto the A52 Notts bound
You people should car-share: more beer for the non-driver, cost savings AND better for the environment which I think we all agree is a priority.
Someone should organise the 606 car share scheme.
Won't somebody PLEASE think of the planet?!!
Blimey 666 has Vidals Christmas Carol worried you so much that you are now trying to garner votes from Greenpeace supporters for POTY
Take the bus, go down town afterwards, karaoke on the bus back home. No problem parking, no drink driving, environmentally friendly.
There's plenty of the lefty, liberal tree-hugger types on here, most of whom are v. dull's core voting bloc; if I break that, then I've got him. He'd most likely panic and get desperate, making racist jokes and stuff, and then it's done.

Go to a pub that puts a bus on. Usually £3 plus £30 for beer.
