The Frenchman offers great stability and balance to the team up front, I''ll give him that.
But he just can't hit a barndoor consistently at the moment. His lack of ability aside, he is so incredibly passive.
We've all been saying how much Ozil will improve as soon as Walcott comes back. He needs a runner. And who runs quicker than Walcott?
His general play and technical quality has grown by leap and bounds.
We got a short a sneak preview of how good Walcott could be up there when he was playing for a contract last year. He was genuinely unplayable during that period at times.
Some might argue he doesn't have the stature or the strength to hold the ball. That is true to some degree. But I am confident with Ozil, Cazorla and Ramsey behind him that he can cause some damage. More so than Giroud with all due respect.
This could be our short term solution to our striker solution while we get someone else. Who knows. Walcott might even hold down a position there.
Drop Giroud For Walcott

i cant believe it. Do you people understand football. Walcott was great today but Arsenal kept the ball on the ground with quick passing. He cannot play CF if Arsenal played Stoke or Villa or Palace away which force long high passes. He would not touch the ball then.
