totally agree, lets do it!
Bendtner is better in the middle than theo.
theos on the wing and should stay there.
Just out of interest who was it he played up front against last season? I know one of them was against our shambles of a defence who else? I don't think he's good enough to be a starting cf personally. Not good enough with his back to goal and his runs all a bit too samey and predictable. Suppose if as you say it is only a short term solution it may not be too bad.
Walcott ripped Newcastle a new one. haha
He doesn't need to play with his back to goal really. Why does everyone assume you have to be a big bulky CF to play up front?
Walcott is more effective coming from deeper. He scores and creates countless goals from the right.
you need a physical presence when you only have one striker, Theo does more damage on the right where he can start deeper and has so much space.
i thought the theo in the middle rubbish had died along with "lets buy back vela" stuff
"you need a physical presence when you only have one striker"
Not necessarily. Look at Liverpool and Suarez. You had people on here saying he wouldn't be able to play up front on his own had he joined Arsenal. He's pretty much dispelling those myths.
It's not a must.
Suarez plays with his eyes open though
Against some sides maybe but the majority of the time no. Just can't see Theo as an effective one man strikeforce against most sides.
suarez is bigger than theo though so that comparison doesn't work
Doesn't matter if he's bigger than Theo. You had naysayers saying he couldn't do a job up front.
Let's stick the lamp post Giroud then seeing as he's tall and strong.
what a silly comment but I agree with keep giroud there over walcott
Suarez can hold it up and link with midfield and he's strong on the ball. we're top of the league so why change how we play, Giroud has lost a bit of form but his all round game has been good this season. Theo just doesn't have enough to his game to be a main striker imo
Drop Giroud For Walcott
The only thing you have to do is to convince Mr. Wenger.
I'd just drop Giroud even if it means playing with 10 men. The effect remains the same.
Silly comment? Ok then.
People were saying we had to pair up Suarez with Giroud in our system as he wouldn't be strong enough up there on his own.
His recent form clearly rubbishes those claims.
"we're top of the league so why change how we play"
So what? Giroud's done well thus far. But he's just not good enough for us. Us being top of the league doesn't change that.
I think Walcott will eventually end up being our striker. He has the movement and finishing ability of a pure striker.
He is still one of the most underrated players in the league
Giroud subbed for Bendtner against City said a lot to me.
Wouldn't be surprised if Theo is upfront vs Chelsea.
As for his "we're top of the league so it can't be all bad" stuff, well unless Wenger beats Mourinho for the first time on Monday we almost certainly won't be any longer.
It's a laughable excuse. Won't even bother with that GT guy.
Walcott does a lot of damage (goals and assists) using his pace and intelligent running to get in behind from a wide forward position. I don't think he would necessarily be any more effective up front and we would lose the other aspects of the game that Giroud offers and Walcott clearly doesn't.

I wouldn't mind Bendtner starting up front, he is quicker than Giroud, a better passer and better finisher. Obviously there are some elements of his game missing that you would expect from a standard striker but this is the situation we are in. I personally prefer Walcott playing on the wing but if it comes down to play Giroud or Walcott up front on Sunday, the latter wins every time. My team would be
Flamini Ramsey
Theo Cazorla Ozil
Bendtner
With Wilshere out won't Giroud and Walcott both start?
Is Podolski match-ready yet?
