No excuses anymore

With what I have seen today and past few weeks really does show that spurs are the laughing stock of the footballing world. Only they would spend 100m + on players and they would all turn rank (no more excuses, they are supposed world class individuals and look out of place half the time on a football pitch). Its just embarrassing now.
The board have their heads so far up their behind that the only right thing to do now is look for a suitable buyer for the club and a new chairman. The management situation is quite frankly disgusting. A premiership club hiring and firing managers when it suits with no plan b on who they were going to bring in to replace them. Now we are stuck with someone who has no experience and to be quite honest has the attitude of "what have i got to lose" which doesn't play well for any fan. Les Ferdinand, great player but probably the worst coach in the planet if we go by his previous job of striking coach.
Soldado is another one I tire of making excuses for. He looks like hes settled for a nice retirement pay in a top league and will most likely be on plane back home in summer if not sooner. Not even guna go through new signings a player at a time. The whole team just about, look half rsed and like they are just there to have a laugh and do not play with any commitment fluency or ability (more so recently). They have no where to hide now, it really does come down to the players to perform at a much better level as they owe it to the club who pays there wages and the fans who pay top dollar to go and watch them.
Another myth we (including myself) use is saying "oh it could have been a runaway with all our chances" sorry but thats not what wins games, its goals is what gets us the points we desperately need. Something massive must happen at the lane soon and I think it should start at the top because shambolic phases of horror occur at this club too often for it to come down to poor luck.

Sizzle, that exactly the type of excuses we shouldn't be making. Spurs have spent the last 6 or 7 years building a club to compete at the highest level. This is through our youth academy, managerial appointments, high reputable players coming to us and most importantly the money invested in making this happen. Comments like at least we re not in the relegation zone are poor. We are no longer a small club like the villas and Sunderlands. We have to start acting like one soon or we may aswell look forward to seasons of europa and players like taarabt and chimbonda calibre making a return.

Topgeezah

I'm looking at it from the relationship point of view between DOF and manager. Jol himself said that he did not want certain players but because Comolli did the buying he had no choice. Although there is no evidence to suggest otherwise, I think the same has happened with AVB and Baldini.

As far as i am concerned the manager should be resposible for buying players that he wants, as he is accountable for the results.

I agree with Levy selling out at the first opportunity. This is why I think the changes have to be at the top before any more are made at the bottom

Its purely an opinion but when a dof buys a player I get the feeling they come into the club thinking they answer to the dof because the commitment of some of our new signings has been abysmal. Again it is a double edged sword though as VdV bled spurs and instantly took to the jersey on arrival even if Levy did sign him.

Levys bad decisions as chairman heavily outweighs his good ones.
