He reminds me of Gervinho in some ways. His runs have been brilliantly timed recently, great for breaking the offside trap. But his finishing is terrible at the moment. Seems encouraging for you guys though?

As my name suggests, I'm a fan - think he has tremendous potential.
What's really impressed me is his attitude since the Hull game. He was pretty dreadful that game, as were a lot of our team, and was rightly criticised.
The next game however BR picked him again and dropped Moses to the bench. That bit of confidence shown in him seems to have given him confidence on the pitch, he's bounced back wonderfully well.

You lot where saying he should be sent out on loan a few weeks back.

He needed to find confidence and form from somewhere, a loan is an option to do just that.
However, BR seems to have given him the boost he needed with an overt show of faith. Great management and a fantastic response by Sterling.

He gave the City defence a torrid time but it was frustrating to watch him blow that great chance in the second half.
He is very good tactically for a young player which means he doesn't need to rely on his pace, but he is work in progress when it comes to creating and finishing chances.
I think he does have the abilty to become a quality player. He's not there yet though.

He was robbed a goal on Boxing Day. Like his pace in behind defences though and if he plays and can link up with Suarez, Coutinho and Sturridge (when back fit) then we have a very good attacking force indeed.

I slated him at the hull game and also halfway through the west ham game but something changed in that west ham game where though he did not score he was causing them serious issues. He has been great simce then. I am one where u rather develop our own players than get a loan player in like moses

Sterling is a very good player when his head is right, as BR himself has intimated.
