For someone who recently turned 19 he's got some footballing brain.
Good young player who has surprised a lot of people with his attitude. Very young and will continue to improve.
Absolutely nothing like Gervinho.
I'm guessing you are basing that opinion on one missed chance against Man City.
He's doing fine thanks.
Gervinho? He reminds me of Walcott when he was 17. Pace but no composure or speed of thought to know what to do when he gets the ball 90% of the time.
Very talented teenager who knows when to pass, when to dribble and when to move which is rare for that age. Good balance, great pace and is scoring enoughfor my liking.
He he keeps his attitude right he'll be a top player.
Finishing terrible? Based on what? One miss?
Pace but no composure or speed of thought to know what to do when he gets the ball 90% of the time.

So wrong it's laughable.

Sterling actually has a good footballing brain. He also works very hard defensively, unlike Walcott, even now.
Every time I have seen him play (which is a lot as Liverpool are on pretty much every week) this has been very true. Wastes so many attacks Liverpool have had in those games.
Maybe on the rare weeks Liverpool aren't on he does something special...
DJ on your live thread you always seem to be watching a different match.

No, again, sorry but your comment is laughable. There is not one single bit of evidence to back up what you have written. Nothing.
Robbing, I suggest your vision is impaired by bias...

Easily ahead of Walcott at the same age comparison. End of the day he is a pacey winger who like Walcott will be unplayable at times while other times he will be none existent.

Okay.
712 minutes played.
3 goals
2 assists
20 chances created
87% pass completion
Perhaps you're wrong and I'm not biased after all. Just saying.
Let's not forget he has also played right back well for us this season.
He is comfortable on both wings whereas Walcott struggles to play on the left.
I don't give a toss about whether he is better than Walcott but to suggest that he does not know what to do with the ball when the fact is one of his strengths is playing with his head up is just wrong. That's what makes him so good for his age.
Walcotts done well on the left in the past. He doesn't start there but there has been times where he's switched to the left side mid game and looked good. His finishing style is very similar to T.Henry on the left sode
I think hes a good player. More of a winger whereas walcotts more of a striker. Any player his age would suffer from inconsistency so no need to make a big deal if he has a few poor games
As my name suggests, I'm a fan - think he has tremendous potential.
What's really impressed me is his attitude since the Hull game. He was pretty dreadful that game, as were a lot of our team, and was rightly criticised.
The next game however BR picked him again and dropped Moses to the bench. That bit of confidence shown in him seems to have given him confidence on the pitch, he's bounced back wonderfully well.
You lot where saying he should be sent out on loan a few weeks back.

He needed to find confidence and form from somewhere, a loan is an option to do just that.
However, BR seems to have given him the boost he needed with an overt show of faith. Great management and a fantastic response by Sterling.
He gave the City defence a torrid time but it was frustrating to watch him blow that great chance in the second half.
He is very good tactically for a young player which means he doesn't need to rely on his pace, but he is work in progress when it comes to creating and finishing chances.
I think he does have the abilty to become a quality player. He's not there yet though.
He was robbed a goal on Boxing Day. Like his pace in behind defences though and if he plays and can link up with Suarez, Coutinho and Sturridge (when back fit) then we have a very good attacking force indeed.
