No point getting a new stadium with the state that the team is in at the moment.
Sell Maynard and invest in the defence and forget the new ground.
If we continue to play this bad we will be down before we know it.
We can't fill Ashton Gate now, so what is the point of having a 30,000 stadium that would at best be only half full.
It's going to be a long hard season down at the Gate.
No need for new stadium

I would like to shoot this one down in flames.
Unfortunately I cannot.

I think you were one of those who slated my comments on the old 606. My point was at the time that it was there to see that Millen was not the answer for us to progress forward.
We needed to bite the bullet after Coppell and gone for someone of the same quality.
I hope the board will act quick and not let this farce go on too long.
Otherwise the article heading will be right and we will end up as we were 10 years ago.

Yes I did make a stand for the case of continuity and stability, because a dynasty cannot be created without this. I have always said wait until this season before making judgements.
It is now this season, and what I am seeing is giving me the creeps.

I think it would have been much better once we were safe last season to give a new manager all that time to prepare for the new season.....
Now if the manager is re-placed then he will be under pressure to make sure of getting results.
Wrong way round IMO.
NB. I do agree with you regarding stability and not changing manager every 5 mins. But our circumstances with Coppell and Millen are exceptional.
