Koscielney 'Does Have A Mistake In Him'

When people usually comment on Laurent they seem to slip that quote in. This really confuses me, he either doesn't deserve the praise because we're talking about the Koscielney of 2 years ago or people just don't watch him enough. It's been a very long time since we've seen Kos muck up to the extent where he costs us points, he more or less does the opposite and is very key in helping us earn them instead.

One can admit he can be very rash but that is natural when you watch his game, he thrives off sharp tackles, interceptions and generally attacking the ball quickly, he'll miss a few of course but the immaturity in my opinion has been totally erased from his game. People might point to his tugging in the box on monday or that bump Vs WBA earlier this season but if that's something to use against him then the likes of Vidic, Terry and even Kompany to an extent deserve the same criticism. They're all kings of sly tugging when the ref's focused elsewhere, I'm glad Kos and Per have developed into a meaner classy partnership, the only hope is that refs show us a bit more leniency.

In my humble opinion I think Laurent has developed into a world class ball playing defender and I don't know what XI he wouldn't get into now a days, the own goals, silly fouls, famous Sczesney miscommunications look to be well and truly behind him me thinks
