Only at BWFC can we be beaten by the biggest margin since 1938 and the manager still keep his job! I was fully expecting to read the news this morning that DF and his cronies had been placed on garden leave! Not only is the Reading result our worst on grass since 1938, DF has also presided over our worst start to a season in 111 years! His comments after the game were also a disgrace in an attempt to cover his own backside but will go to alienate all the players that he hadn't alienated already! How can he expect to manage the dressing room after this?
So, why hasn't PG acted already and what message does that send to DF other than you can be totally rubbish at your job and we still won't sack you because we can't afford to get rid of you and the crap backroom team that you have assembled!
I am disgusted with my club at the moment. Not even a press release to say that the club will cover the supporters costs to witness first hand that disgraceful display. No, only at BWFC do they wheel out our temporary captain Jay Spearing to say how sorry he is and how the players are fully behind the manager! Give me an effing break!
There are managers available right now that could coach this group of players into a decent unit:
Malky Mackay
Steve Clarke
Glen Hoddle
All of the above would do a better job than the useless git currently in charge of our club, but the club have to act now before it is too late.
EDIT: It gets worse tho! DF wants to get another striker! Maybe that will give us a chance of getting a 7-7 next time! You really couldn't make this stuff up!
Only at Bolton Wanderers!

DF has never played 4-3-3 in his life. I have never read so much carp in 21 years of being on BWFC forums!!

Sorry but it is. Whether it's an attacking 433 like Liverpool's or a less attacking one like Chelsea's. It is still 433.

Every week we have no idea about formation, 1 or 2 holding midfielders, which side is Eagles on, why is Medo out after a motm performance the last time out....

I agree his unwillingness to settle on a team baffles me and probably the players. Although I am hoping he is learning his trade and eventually adapts. If he won't he won't last much longer.

Learning his trade? Should he not be looking at a settled team by now?

Maybe your are right. However many people didn't want an experienced manager like Bruce.

In terms of the past, we can't change it. No point blaming anyone on here, we only offer opinions. The men paid to do that have gone down the line of novices in Sammy Lee, Owen Coyle and Dougie Freedman, sandwiched with a man no one wanted before his appointment!!!!!
So we look forward..... Yes, experience would be great, but I go back to my view the man picking them needs replacing.... Lose Gartside...
Not sure why Malky is dismissed. He took over Cardiff when they had about 9 professionals and all sorts of behind scenes nightmares!!! Saying that he's prem bound.....

The only man I would pay over the odds for at Bolton Wanderers football club is Tony Pulis. As far as I know he has never been relegated, would take us to the Prem and have us top half within two years.
I watched him blow Coyle out of the water at Wembley. It wouldn't be pretty but boy would it be entertaining!?

Pulis was my choice when megson went although we probably would have had no chance of getting him at the time. He was also my choice if freedman had been sacked after the awful start to the season. That boat has now sailed now he is at palace.

Word has it, the Palace hierarchy are messing him about. They will fall into when he keeps Palace up though?

Thats comical - what does he play then?
Please god in heaven dont answer with 4-5-1 - 4-5-1 and 4-3-3 are the same formation dependant on whats going on on the field
