Mata is Nani replacement/improvement

I believe that Mata is ment to play on the right for us, Kagawa nor Rooney will be bothered with him coming. We're buying him probably for a awful lot of money, but in return we can sell Nani for a real deal to Juve aswell. I pretend that Nani is a righter, fact is his nothing, at least not now.

Our attack would look more lethal, would expect more created from the right with Mata, and therefore more goals, also a better finisher than the other ones.

We got everything, a wise and deadly striker in RvP, a young boy - not afraid to challenge - Januzaj, Rooney in CAM and Mata ofc. Looks great on paper

........................RvP....................
Januzaj.........Rooney...........Mata

Excellent front line.

Could be used in a no 10 when we swap Kagawa in for Gundogan in the summer or what's happening right now.

That means we would have backup in that area, and the move is well thought through.

Mata is a class player and should boost the moral of the team.

Could also bring optimism around the camp when it comes to more arrivals, and it should mean that our presuit of a left back and a midfielder is sealed within the end of the month.

Rooney won't stay past the summer.

Really? Can you give me a link to your evidence?

I better give him a call and tell him to stop house hunting in Cheshire quick

Expect big changes and quickly. I disagree with Nev and Carra saying they need only a couple of quality signings. We may as well do it asap.
If Mata comes I am expecting Nani and Rooney to leave giving zero net spend there !

So its ok, to speculate on Mata joining Utd, but when someone speculates that Rooney might be leaving, you're asking for evidence?!

The Irony
--------------------------
1. I haven't said Mata will be joining United although I do hope he does.

2. Mata is warming Chelsea's bench and Jose doesn't fancy him

3. Rooney is crucial to United and the club's stance has never ever changed that he isn't leaving

4. Rooney isn't warming our bench. He's seen as our most important player

5. Rooney has stated that he loves working under David Moyes

6. Since Fergie has left, Rooney has done absolutely nothing to suggest he wants to leave

7. I know for a fact he is house hunting in Cheshire

8. If you look closely at the comment I was responding to, it wasn't speculation. It was a statement of fact that Rooney was leaving

9. Nothing ironic in asking for evidence (or at least inside knowledge that isn't just press rubbish) because the staement he made is factual

10. Oh, I am not stating Rooney won't be leaving in the Summer. Only that the actual evidence available shows he is more likely to stay than go

No real Utd fan would ever want City to win the title before Arsenal. Not a single one. If they do, they aren't real Utd fans.

What a crock

There are plenty of reds that don't hold any animosity towards City

Saying they arn't proper reds is pathetic

tbf, I am yet to meet a utd fan tha does not hate city "in manchester"

outside Manchester it is understandable, but not when you work with them daily.

apart from not signing a contract or saying he wants to stay

but you are right he has done nothing.
I am rooney's biggest fan and even I think it is absurd you criticise someone for suggesting rooney wants to leave

There are some. I have a mate, season ticket holder who sometimes watches City. Agree there can't be too many though now they are winning things.

Prince

That doesn't mean there arnt red/blue families that would prefer to see their family members be happy before Gooners

When City won their title, I was at a christening in Swinton at the time and there were plenty of reds and blues there.

My wife's three nephews who are young City fans and they all literally had tears streaming down their faces when Aguero scored. I was hurting bad obviously because it was us they had beaten to the title but listening to their father saying that he just never ever thought he would be able to have that feeling with his kids just brought it home just how lucky we are to have been United fans all these years having those feelings as familes many times over

Just because there and reds and blues out there that don't wanna rip each others heads off all the time, that doesn't mean they arnt proper reds

Tis why I objected to the statement
