Yup Looks Like Wenger Has Screwed It

Typically let us down hearing the likes of Klose and Vucinic being linked does nothing to inspire things. Garbage players so much for 'quality' going back to the days of recruiting deadwood it looks. With Schalke being reluctant we may aswell activate the clause since it's the last quality option left, even people like Tello do nothing for hope, City had Aguero out in the first half last night and still goals were not an issue, this is what we're up against yet we're dragging our feet.

What sense does it make to wait till the last day when we're in great need? Earlier business may have changed the result of our last games but we don't ever learn. Ozil looks like it was a 1 off as Wenger is far from mastering the window. Even Monreal was a backup signing so I won't count that as major deadline business, he flattered to deceive to be honest.

I'd love to look like a fool and be proved wrong but with the names I'm now seeing linked I'm prepared for disappointment, it's not about just bringing in anyone, it's about re-inspiring the title fight as City are now ready to run away with it. We have our top players out for a while so we actually need 3 signings 1 CB (backup/promising), 1 DM (Upgrade on Flam & Mik) 1 ST/Draxler that's really what we needed but now we have to settle for 1 or 2 likely to be below expectations.

Wenger has shown how much he wants the title this year now same old disappointment and of course I'll be supporting till the end but everyone knows this current lot don't have enough to get over the line with City about simple as that. Yet Arsene will sign a sweet deal and all those promises look broken. Eto'o has proven former top players can't suddenly revive themselves in the worlds toughest league so why we want Klose is a shocking myth.

Now the Ozil transfer was more like a panic signing than a planned one. If we did not lose the Villa game probably Wenger won't buy anyone at all.

Knowing Wenger you're probably right It seems big crisis match losses are to our benefit sometimes. Per and Arteta became decent panic buys too. Mind you that point at St. Mary's was vital but I wish there was some other kind of way something could spark Arsene into action

@Who Gibbs,
So probably in Wenger's eyes, dropping 2 points against Southampton is nothing, and we don't need to buy.

Are we prepared to pay well over the value for a player only to placate a few fans who are only happy playing football manager,leave it to Wenger he does know all the facts,unlike everyone on here.

Ozil rings a bell so I guess the answer is 'yes, you are willing to pay over the odds'.

Jeez, that was easy.

Wenger has simply - and correctly - called that they cannot compete with Man City and might as well not waste any money cementing second place.

It will be like that for many many years to come

Why is everyone so ageist for? I would be satisfied with Klose. He has a lot of experience and can finish. We'd only need him for the remainder of the season and would be a good short term option.

It's not ageist but we a 'top' forward completes our puzzle. RVP ditched us a year and half ago now yet his void is yet to be filled.

Klose isn't the worst but we have again delayed the opportunity to sign the player we need! Might aswell just get Berba in that case, no ambition from our manager if this is true.
