Obviously not a poster boy signing, but he might be just what you need. Mobile striker who could fit the system very nicely, has loads of top-level experience, doesn't crack under pressure, knows where the goal is...
Also, unlike Eto'o he hasn't been tucked away in a remote corner of Eurasia and you only need him to last 6 months.
Could be a great stop-gap imo.

Sure we do six points ahead of them and no Europe to worry about we will be fine in our target for 4th. Might not get it but United signing mata doesn't sort their problems out. Our squad got us this far with lots of injuries we can survive the rest of the season. Oh and check out our record when one of the front two had been out then post with your brain

At the start without Suarez you were scraping 1-0's which is fair but without him you're far from anything special and you better not be so relaxed about missing out on top 4, once Suarez goes mediocrity at your club resumes, and this time Steven Gerrard hasn't got the ability to keep your club afloat.

The fact of the matter is we needed a new player, regardless of whether we've been lied to or not we have to expect and expectations have currently not been met this window

Henrik Larsson signed on loan for Man Utd when he was 35 in 2007. He didn't do too badly.
Now the Ozil transfer was more like a panic signing than a planned one. If we did not lose the Villa game probably Wenger won't buy anyone at all.

Knowing Wenger you're probably right It seems big crisis match losses are to our benefit sometimes. Per and Arteta became decent panic buys too. Mind you that point at St. Mary's was vital but I wish there was some other kind of way something could spark Arsene into action
