Looking at the table....We are in the poopy. We avoid being in the dreaded R zone on goal difference only. As crazy as things are this season though...if we pull of some sort of robbery/miracle and win tomorrow, then we'll move up to 11th position.
I just can't see anything other than a Pool win though. They're on fire and Sturridge/Suarez/Coutinho/Sterling will have a field day against our back line. Especially if the same defenders that played on Wednesday play. Lugano and Reid MUST be dropped for McAuley and Jones.

So Big Vic came on and changed the game again.
He is a sure fire starter in my opinion with Anelka/Vydra/Berahino/Sessegnon playing off him.

Indeed he did JH I seem to remember me and you backing him the other day.....
I would love to see Sinclair playing with him and Morgan with Sessegnon behind big Vic, that attack has pace, power and the skill to cause any PL defence problems

And no Aries, although he has a great left foot he certainly is not even as fast as Ridgebad.
There must be a youngster in the Acadamy that would be better than Ridgebad.

He may not be the quickest but he has a very good work rate and with Sinclair in front of him who does a lot of tracking back it could work.
Plus it could make a devastating partnership against the opposition with Brunt playing through balls fo Sinclair to chase

A month or so I may have agreed about Brunt, but at the moment I'd leave him where he is. Personally I think next to only Yacob, Brunt has been our been our best player since Pepe has come in. Plus the fact he gets a high number of assists I'd be reluctant to move him at the moment.
