"We played well, we got to byline cut things back 4 or 5 times and never found anyone"
Is that it? How embarrassing for a club like us, that all we can create is a few cut backs. He is not cutting the mustard as of yet.

Moyes is an idiot. What do you expect the window licker to say?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I know you don't rate him and that's fair enough, but that's a bit uncalled for.

The best "cutback" came from Hernandez, he played a pass into open space and nobody was there to fire it home. Why we ask?
Rooney in CM, RVP subbed off. There's your answer, and why were they moved and subbed?
Moyes is a clueless manager is the answer to that one.

Not really, game after game, he says the most stupid things I have ever heard.

The most stupid of which is "we played well." It's become a catchphrase and yet has very very rarely been true.
Before anyone asks "well what do you expect him to say?" I would suggest something that didn't sound hollow, recycled and untrue. How about "we got level, then proceeded to do nothing until the last 2 minutes of normal time, whilst conceding once and being fortunate to not concede a third"? Admittedly that would be hard hitting - but entirely true.

tbf, he's not the only manager guilty of putting a positive spin on a disaster, watching some of the interviews on MOTD suggests most do it, but I know what you mean, I wish all managers would be more honest instead of trying to polish a t urd.

I would prefer he came out and said yeah we played rubbish and didn't deserve anything. Atleast then we know he's aware there's problems and players aren't performing and tactics could be better. People say he needs to stay positive and protect his players etc but that's nonsense, if a player is playing poor the manager should be the first one shouting at them to get better.
Fergie didn't inspire his players by putting his arm around their shoulder and telling them they're perfect just the way they are. He did it by being ruthless with them and demanding a high standard every single week otherwise they'd get it in the neck. Everyone was too afraid to disappoint him.
Moyes seems to be trying to be the nice guy. He needs to be the angry old bbastard that will rip into a player if he underperforms.

There is a way of going about it. I think singling out an individual is wrong. But I also think that saying the collective unit have underperformed, when they have been poor, is pretty much a necessity. No one is singled out or isolated but as a team, they know they have to do better.

If Moyes considered yesterday's game as - well played, then we really are up shīts creak without a paddle. He really doesn't have a clue wtf he's doing. Get rid asap.

No, we didn't play brilliantly, but what do you expect him to say.
Their first goal came from their first effort and was a complete fluke.
Their second came from a complete miskick that randomly landed at the scorer'a feet.
We had two centre backs injured leading to players being played out of position.
We had three of our most important players straight back from injury playing themselves back to full fitness.
We hit the post, missed sitters and had the ball in their box more often than I can remember in any other game this season.
Anyone would think our strongest team had just been dominated by relegation fodder, which is far from the truth.
