Drop Ozil For Liverpool Me Thinks

Now I'm not one of those that's been disappointed in him throughout the season by any means, he has changed everything at this club and I am truly grateful I also appreciate that he quietly contributes in a major way even on his worser days however at Anfield we'll need to be snappy and sharp going forward, for me this should mean Mr. big game Rosicky should come into the team. I do think Wenger letting Mesut play every game regardless of performance has him way too laid back, he needs to realise that we have others capable of coming in and doing an equal if not better job.

Now I noticed Vs Spurs in the cup when he came on he really showed some hunger and actually was being the most physical I've ever seen him be to be fair the atmosphere on that day remains our best of the season and that might have played a part in firing him up but he does need to be fired up and I think maybe coming off the bench next week may do so. He'll be worried about not making the United game and he needs to turn up as they'll do everything in their power to silence him and get something from that as we're their cup final.

For Liverpool I'd go:

Podolski should be an option off the bench as we'll need a more midfield based team to out-do them on their turf I feel. Ox must stay in the team, and I'd put him out wide on the day to offer us that pace especially as that left side is very weak for Liverpool. Gibbs MUST come in for Monreal absolutely I can see Nacho making Sterling look a half decent player on the day, very good on the ball quite inept defensively though.

If we're not going to drop Giroud then it may have to be at Mesut's expense as they just don't work together, Ox and Rosicky will at least thrive off Giroud's one-two style as they'll get beyond him and Santi is the man of the moment so should come in the middle. Podolski and Ozil could be very effective subs to make though.

I'm not slating Mesut at all, I still love Ozil and stand by my as well as the hypocritical one's opinion that we have the best No. 10 in the world but if possession for us is limited then we may be carrying a passenger on the day, which we can't afford!
