Dodgy DCFC maketting strategy

A few season ago many of you boys were saying that your owners strategy of giving away between 5000 and 10000 match tickets was a brilliant marketing strategy designed to bring in future fans, sell more pies and drinks and boost club merchandise sales. In fact, you were somewhat amusingly comparing yourself to being a big club.

Fast forward to present day and you have an alarming fall in average attendances which is presumably reflected likewise in merchandise etc yet still giving the tickets away.

I hear from a reliable source that around 50% of the giveaways tickets are these days being returned though the 5000 that are still taken IS comparable to that of a big club like say, Celtic so your owner should be commended for getting that side fo thing right.

Do you feel that the fact that despite the free tickets Derby County have secured the custom of no new fans should be of concern? Additionally, since you are still giving away so many tickets and therefore have only around 15 thousand paying fans, how are you going to fund your next transfer swoop into the lower leagues?

Im not trying to cause trouble or dissatisfaction amongst you with you current owners but when you look at your biggest rivals and see a rich and generous owner who's company is the clubs sponsor and the securing of lucrative TV deals in the middle east.....you must wonder how you will ever be able to keep up with us.

Well i suggest you change the people you associate with as they're obviously not the right type. He was on here cause he came over spouted his, Derby are bankrupt crap, i disputed it dragged it up he'd said the same thing on the old site, a couple of others said the same, and he dissappeared.

I didnt see it. I cant vouch for the others but the point is that this was raised by Manc saying he chased me off it which is with my tale between my legs which is a little bit of wishful thinking on his part This is the first I know of this and you wont be able to find any link which connects me to this site, I can assure you.
