league and how much has to be spent to compete for 4th.
One club has spent a nett £200million more than the other
to fight over the same space in the league over the past 5 seasons.

Even if you only count the last 5 season's spend it's still £100million plus.

They can't buy the league and since 2009 they couldn't even buy top 4,but they are where they are due to the genius that manages them and nothing else obviously.

So Phil has realised his team have no chance of 4th so has now taken to abusing finances instead to get his kicks.

This is a ridiculous point to make and a financially jealous one. I am proud of our Club and proud of the fact that Moyes kept us where we are with next to no funds. Look if we had the same funding as Liverpool, our policy would be exactly the same. Let's stop the moaning and be proud of our achievements.

Celebrating like you've won the league when putting four past us? Revelling in the downfall of last years champions like it means more points for you? Obsessed with everything Everton fans post on sites like this? And we're the ones with a small club mentality?!

Did we? I don't recall that happening. We beat you all the time at Anfield so this was no different any other season.
And yes you are the ones with a small club mentality, because you are a smaller club, financially, globally, and in terms of success. A good season for you is finishing above Liverpool.

So what if Liverpool have spent more than us to achieve a higher position. We need to get back to the old days of friendly rivalry instead of this bitterness. Our families have members that are Liverpool and/or Everton fans so there is no excuse really.
