Ugly Green

Theres no getting away from the fact that United's first team if allowed to play for 38 games would be a very dangerous proposition.
But thats just not going to happen.
And the squad is very Green. Its young, untested and fragile.

Aguero apart. The scary thing about City this season will be the improvement of Silva, Dzeko and Yaya. In particular Yaya is beginning to make Roy Keane look like a mouse.

Young looks mustard but he's kind of blown it already after Saturday as most teams will double up on him now and he has not got the skills of Ronaldo to break free.
An injury to Rooney and it could be curtains.

Mancini is knocked but his remit was to qualify for the CL. The entertainment begins now!

There's a difference between accepting something, and accepting a reasoned debate on the subject.

I accept that some United fans make ridiculous comments about City, and these would be best ignored by City fans, rather than used as a stick to beat United fans as a whole with.

I've seen some absurd stretches in the desperate attempts to find fault with the team that has dominated English football for over two decades, but this really takes the cake! A player has "blown it" by playing well and alerting opposition to the fact that he has talent... how loonytunes it that?! Clearly Aguerro has made a HUGE error in scoring on his debut!
Do you expect United's opposition to play a12th man in oder to double up? Or just move a defender and free up Rooney, Valencia, Nani, whoever?
Will they "double up" for his FK's and corners?

"The scary thing about City this season will be the improvement of Silva, DzekoW

Haha, Dzeko, "scary"?!? I can understand how the City fans would be scared to think they may need to rely on him - because NO teams will be able to field their best 11 for 38 games, so to suggest that this will only affect Utd is just another desperate reach.

I would suggest that City will have stiffer challenges than a home game against a small team which has risen from the 4th division in order to become cannon fodder for the big guns.

Adam Lucy,
Relax, anyone would think that you're running scared!

City have gelled, accept it. The squad has enormous strength in depth. Dzeko like Silva and Yaya will surprise you, he only arrived this year.
I praised Young because I rate him over your other suspect creative options.

But I will agree that your team has dominated English football for over two decades.
Memories eh?!

I agree with you there are none of the other SC holders sitting round me who think we are going to win it and even if we do nobody is saying it out loud.

As current champions, it's a tad more than memories

Who's they, as I said before I am yet to meet or speak to a match going supporter who thinks we are going to win it, Don't put words in our mouths to suit your nosey agenda!
-------------------------
I see your difficulty right there, you dont have many match going supporters do you.

Some dude or other: "anyone would think that you're running scared!"

That is of course assuming that they currently have 100% ownership of No, not "anyone" - just the supporters of those clubs perpetually in our wake. This favourite little saying of theirs is just a straw-clutching attempt at bravado, as dealing with realities means having to accept that we are the champions and the top team in the UK.
Anyone would think you are desperately envious!
