It's amazing what a win against the fodder of the premier league can do for confidence

Metro dont feel excluded!
There are lots of people that think that Dirk Kuyt is better than Ashley Young and David Silva put together.

wasnt it nani who tore your rabble apart?
What makes you think we are a two man team?

If it takes over a billion quid to beat United to 1st position then thats what it takes....

Well said Greg!

United spent a billion quid to get where they are today.

Im not getting the aguero hype, he scores a tap in and scores from long range after coming on againt a team which city were completley dominant against, he couldnt have had an easier debut. Im not saying he wont be a good player but lets wait till hes tested first.

I do agree that there other players are doing better, dzeko actually looked quite good yesterday, silve looked very good as did toure but i think their weakness will be mancini being too cautious at times like they were at the start of the match yesterday.

I still reckon we're favourites but imo the form of carrick will be key, against west brom we had noone protecting the back four and againt a better team could have been found out. On young, i think only twice did he go onm his left, the first time he got in a goood position the second made a goal, the rest of the time he cut back o his right and the cross was blocked. HOwever i dont think doubling up on him is a good idea as that will leavle space fr nani and rooney, who imo are better players.

That should make us about even in the grand scheme of things considering how many times you guys broke the transfer record down the years?

Boris, but they did it first so we shouldnt be!
I think its the fact that we're doing it better that winds them up.
Berbatov or Aguero, same money, different class!

i agree, i mean its so easy to judge on less than half a match against a team who are being dominated.

The lad served it up all season in Spain, he took the michael out of Real and Barca. He was the most sought after striker after Messi and he's only half fit.

Shevchenko was better in italy than aguero in spain, cost similar money, had a good debut and we all know how that ended. Im not saying hes a bad player, in fact i think hes a very good player but calm it down abit, eh.

How many times do some City fans need it explained before they understand the difference between spending money that you have earnt over a 20 year period and spending money given to you over a 4 year period?

________

They really showed how they were gelling against a good team didn't they ie. United!
Still the same old wimps from last season - although i have a feeling Silva and Aguero will make your team a major threat

Danny boy,
I feel empty, I feel that we should not be playing Silva and Aguero, I feel we should have gone for Dirk Kuyt. I feel sad.

Wow I am yet to here city fans saying we will win the league, we are happy our new signing played well, no one has said we will win the league as far as I know and what do we have. The nosey neighbours infesting our board again!

Obsessed much? What's up nothing going on with your teams today???

Was that an attempt at wit?

I'm not having a pop at City - I've regularly said that they can't be blamed for their approach; UEFA, amongst others, have created a situation where that's the only route to challenging for honours.

But it doesn't change the fact that City's approach is different to Uniteds - so comparing the two is silly.

I heard Citys owner pays people to fill their stadium, is this true?

I'm curious when people use the word 'obsessed'.

For us, it's interesting. City have suddenly become a major threat to the title and it's going to be very exciting watching the season unravel... not to mention the derbies!

Personally, I like discussing our rivals - I don't think that makes me 'obsessed' with City
