I'm fairly certain this will be a great World Cup though and about time because we haven't had a really good World Cup in ages.

2006 world cup was a bit of a bore imo, saved by Zidane. Euro 2000 is my favourite international tournament. I remember being amazed by Zidane in 98 and almost being in tears when it looked like Italy would win before Wiltord equalised in the final minute..
I can re watch the final over and over again.....
TREZEGUEEEEEETTTTTTTTT.
Good old Golden goal

Zidane was great in the 98 World Cup but I thought he was even better in the 2006 World Cup although his headbutt ruined any chance of that World Cup being remembered for anything else.
Why tears if Italy won ? Did your bird run off with an Italian ?

Brazil
Argentina
They will both have individually great performances but unless they carry their team to the finals/win it I doubt they'll ever silence their critics.
All the ones that play good football.

Euro 2000 was a fabulous tournament. Spain v. Yugoslavia was the highlight, but France, Holland and Portugal were really good to watch. England were abysmal.
