Who will win? Argentina.
Surprise package? Chile. People seem to already be talking about the chances of the likes of Colombia and Belgium as outsiders.
Messi and Ronaldo? Yes, you'll see their true greatness this summer.
Teams I'll be backing? Chile.
Who will win?-Germany
Surprise package?-Belgium
Will Messi and Ronaldo silence their "can't do it at a World Cup" critics?-Messi yes, Ronaldo no
Teams you'll be backing? Spain at 7-1 is well worth a £50-100 bet
Brazil will win.
England the surprise package considering it seems everyone thinks they're useless and won't get past the group stage.
Think it's Messi's year considering he won't have played so many games.
Feck Spain. I hope they don't win it. Their last two tournaments have been dire. 2010 they were the most boring winners in history. Scored no goals and got fortunate with other people missing chances. Before you compare then to Greece winning the euros, Greece had a shìte team. Spain have great players, but play dull football
Brazil to win - team seem to be peaking at the right time + home advantage
Surprise package - Belgium. Again another team peaking at the right time but not with the same depth as Brazil
Nope - Both will have okish cups, nothing like Ronaldo, ZZ or Maradona
Brazil.......every extra match they have is another day off for me!
Oh and all the CFC players
Who will win? Brazil
Surprise package? Good shout on Chile
Will Messi and Ronaldo silence their "can't do it at a World Cup" critics? I surely hope so, that's what it's all about. Argentina have a strong squad. Portugal don't! So I'd expect Messi to go further in the tournament.
Teams you'll be backing? England, Bosnia-Hercegovina, Japan, South Korea & Ecuador.
I'm bored. Let's talk about the World Cup.
----------------------------------------------------
The FIFA World Cup, often simply the World Cup, is an international association football competition contested by the senior men's national teams of the members of Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), the sport's global governing body. The championship has been awarded every four years since the inaugural tournament in 1930, except in 1942 and 1946 when it was not held because of the Second World War. The current champions are Spain, who won the 2010 tournament in South Africa.
The current format of the tournament involves 32 teams competing for the title at venues within the host nation(s) over a period of about a month; this phase is often called the World Cup Finals. A qualification phase, which currently takes place over the preceding three years, is used to determine which teams qualify for the tournament together with the host nation(s).
The 19 World Cup tournaments have been won by eight different national teams. Brazil have won five times, and they are the only team to have played in every tournament. The other World Cup winners are Italy, with four titles; West Germany, with three titles; Argentina and inaugural winners Uruguay, with two titles each; and England, France, and Spain, with one title each.
The World Cup is among the world's most widely viewed sporting events; an estimated 715.1 million people watched the final match of the 2006 FIFA World Cup held in Germany.
The next three World Cups will be hosted by Brazil in 2014, Russia in 2018, and Qatar in 2022.
Enlgand will win
Jack (saviour of English football ) Coupled with tom cleverly in the heart of our midfield will lead our squad to glory playing Woy's trademark free flowing attacking football.
Argentina would be frightening if they had a defence. Time to call up Musacchio.
Id like to see Argentina win, but I think Spain will do it again.
Suprise package: Belgium.. not in a good way though. People seem to think they might challenge, I personally think they'll be disappointing.
Hopefully Messi will have a stormer, the world is ready for it. Cant see Ronaldo and Portugal doing much.
I'll follow England with blind faith.
Who will win? Brazil
Surprise package? Nigeria
Will Messi and Ronaldo silence their "can't do it at a World Cup" critics? Nope, they'll give their critics more ammo. Especially Messi
Teams you'll be backing? England, Italy, Germany, Nigeria
I hope that Belgium win it. Its about time that there is a new name on the trophy. If Messi gets going then i think that Argentina will stroll it.
Hard to call this one. I'm going to go Argentina. Its got to be out of them, Germany and Spain. I'd love to see Brazil win but think this WC may come too early for their squad.
Belgium got a nice group, but they won't do as well as people think.
I was going to put a tenner on Colombia to reach the semis until Falcao got ruled out.
Chile have a tough group so I'll go Bosnia as the suprise. Should they come second they probably play France for a place in the quarters.
I'm tempted to put a cheeky bet on Sturridge to be top scorer.
I like Chile as well. I love the way they play and obviously on virtually home turf they'll have a great chance.
Colombia's chances died when Falcao got injured.
Team to win? One of the usual crowd I'd imagine. People always seem to fancy a dark horse but the big teams always seem to win in the end. I'll go for Brazil to win however that will all depends on how they handle the enormous pressure that will be on them. I don't think Argentina have the right balance between attack and midfield (Di Maria plays CM ffs) but they might fancy their chances. Spain and Germany will both do well too.
France might have an outside chance. They've been woeful of late, but they've drawn a decent group and should get a decent knockout draw. On paper their team is decent.
I'll be supporting England and Iran coz I'm from the Middle East

I agree with every single word of that.
The surprise package will be England.
They will reach the semis in my opinion. Don't ask me why though.
Germany will be disappointing and be knocked out in the quarters.
Ronaldo will get knocked out in the groups and Messi will get knocked out in the semis.
Top scorer will be a Brazilian (not Neymar). Brazil will win.
Messi is past his best imo. Quick, agile and small players always peak early 20's especially when injuries then turn up and cut their sharpness a bit.
I think it is hard to look past spain winning it again but who knows. Spain clearly have the best group of players though.

Does everyone from the middle east support England and Iran?
This sounds totally stupid, but I don't think people will be shocked if Spain win it, or if they finish behind Holland and Chile in the Groups. That's how tough it can be.
I just hope we don't lose any more top players.
I'll be honest I've not enjoyed a World Cup for several years, but I've got a good feeling about this one.
Uruguay Belgium final ( if that's possible )
