Gary Neville: "Hey Roberto, I bet you thought you'd never be interviewed by me, Gary Neville"
Roberto Mancini: "Who?"
*awkward silence*
Who?

I have to concede. I thought Mr Nev did a decent job in his new role. He seemed pretty knowledgable about the players & was also pretty complimentary about City.
I need to take a shower now.

He did seem a little nervous and self-conscious at times, but he will settle into his role and get better when it all starts to feel more natural to him. I agree with Bluemonster.

I quite like him. I loved some of his antics as a player winding the scousers up. However referring to his bog awful house, it is in fact the case that Gary Neville is not a red - he's a green

Neville's pug ugly and shouldn't be allowed within 10 metres of a TV camera.

To me this is more of a negative reflection on Mancini, you wouldn't be expected to now every player from every club but if you don't even know who Gary is then you obviously have extremely limited knowledge of the English game...
Maybe its something in the water at City, Balotelli didn't know who Wilshere was either!

Neville had just about drifted out of the English game when Mancini joined City. He only probably knows him from when he was giving Tevez the V sign during the Carling Cup semi.
Let's face it, Gary Neville is hardly a world famous player.

If Mancini who has been in management a while made a concerted effort to ignore the English game before he managed City I admit there's a chance he wouldn't now who Neville is, but lets be honest theres probably not much chance of that...
