Not a negative post. I try and be as optimistic as any fan probably should be. But on today's showing, and with news of Hobbs's absence till the end of the season. I just don't think there's enough there to mount a serious challenge. Over run in midfield. Wasteful ( as ever ) up top. And quite clearly lacking a leader with a voice at the back. Walking back to the car. I know that many NFFC fans agree that we need to look no forward for inspiration than our East Midlands '' rivals '' Leicester. Same group, same manager. Injury free. Flying!! The club continues to move in the right direction. And i still believe that Billy's the right man. It's just a shame that our season's unraveling in this fashion. Keep the faith.
You reds!!
Thoughts starting to turn to next year

We really should have been on more points from when we did have fit players, though, so the injuries excuse won't really wash if we miss the playoffs. We drew far too many games when only Cohen and Wilson were injured. And we bought Hobbs and Vaughan to the club when they were already injured, so can't really blame anyone but ourselves for that. We've got a squad that should still make the playoffs, and as long as we do, Billy deserves another season.

We will make the playoffs, I am sure of that. Even when we had reid in the team last week we were extremely dangerous and unlucky not to win against Fester. I just think without him and our other injuries we are lacking. As I said though if we can get 3 of them back then we should get there and if we get one more when we are in the playoffs then we shouldn't fear anyone!

Nobody will want to face a fully fit Forest in the play offs. Just hope we can hang in there while we get people back to fitness

That's boIlocks and you know it. Billy has spent millions assembling your squad. A squad provides cover. The players who started yesterday have proven quality that you where all excited about signing. You should not be getting dikked 1-4 at home. It's excuse after excuse and you lot are in denial. Making public excuses for defeats takes the pressure off the players to perform, it tells them that they are not good enough.

Iwas, you pick the most balanced comment and call it bollox? Which players that started yesterday have proven quality? I can pick at least 4 that aren't good enough for a promotion chasing team.

Where are your Buckos who can step in and step up. It's not just about buying players. Your squad players have to perform and not be ridiculed by the boss.

TBH, it could be a 2-horse CC race next season with your youngsters (pato, jamal, hobbs) and ours improving. It should be so good and entertaining in 2014-2015 assuming that one of wigan/qpr go up with burnley this season

So you are basically saying that a team's second eleven is as good as their first eleven and doesn't involve cover being made up of less quality players? Name me any team in which that is the case.
As I've said, take six first teamers from your side, replace them with cover players, then try and claim that you'd be happy for that team to play for the remainder of the season.
PS the likes of Majewski aren't good enough.
