Reading the above tweet, it seems likely that Kroos could be leaving Bayern, and has dropped his biggest hint at it yet. Now I keep reading that United are the ones leading the race. I just wonder if we were to secure champions league this year, why would he go there over us?
This is by no means a wum, I just feel that we offer a style of play more befitting his fantastic passing range, and an exciting project to be part of. If we were to offer a substantial sum of both money to Bayern and wages to him, could he join us?
There is every chance he will not, but if he were to I think we would have one of the strongest midfields in the league, and his signing could signal other top class players to our intentions and they may choose to sign up as well.
Anyway, thoughts on Kroos? Would he come to us? Or should we be looking at someone else?
As always, all thoughts are appreciated
Toni Kroos

comment by Robbing_Hoody - Here, have some goals. You don't have to work for them. They're a gift. That's what we do now. (U6374)

United make profits
Now we'll be making more profits
United won;t be spending 200m this Summer by the way
Less than half that is my guess

That doesn't mean that Liverpool cannot compete for the same players as United though, does it? Players don't cost half a billion, a player may be 20 million, both teams can afford that, all the other factors then come into play.....

I haven't the first clue what Liverpool's financial muscle is at the moment so can't comment on that tbf
My comment was based on the Liverpool and United names
I'm sure a Liverpool on the up and playing CL football again is a big pull

What's this about wage structure? If I remember right, FSG said they didn't have a wage structure. They have people who determine the value and they pay it.
In regards to Kroos, I've seen on numerous occasions, whilst we've been out of the Champions League, players turning us down to play for Spurs for example, whilst they were in it or deemed more likely to get into it. Our history counted for nothing for those players.
Every player is different but it seems the lure of Champions League seems the most prevalent in thier decision making process.
