PFA team of the year....

Will it be another farce or not?

Remember 2010? When we were the better team throughout. Even though we only won the league by a point, we set records left, right and centre for goals scored, and won the double.

However. When it came to these helmets voting for their peers, 4 Manchester United players made it in (Evra, Valencia, Fletcher and Rooney), and only 2 Chelsea players (Drogba and Ivanovic). Malouda, the best winger in the league by far, pipped by Valencia. Record breaking 20+ league goals Lampard, pipped by Fletcher.

I've seen a few articles asking for people's thoughts so far this season, and have been amazed at the number of people including Chesney(sp), Mertersacker and Koscielny. Apparently, being solid for the first 15 games, and not playing against anyone decent, gets you into the team of the year.

Others that I've seen: Coleman. Yes he's impressed me. But can I say he's been better than Iva? No.

Gerrard,

Has any goalkeeper been better than Cech? No.

And without any doubt, Cahill and Terry have been the best two centre halves in the league bar none.

Henderson has been far from mediocre this season, and If Rooney was not Rooney people would be saying how good hes been. Hes been manchester utds best player by far and their only real perfomrer all season.

I agree that England players are Overated but Henderson who before this yearhasbeen poor and Rooney have been very good.

Rooney before Aguero, Sturridge or Suarez?
Henderson before Yaya, Fernandinho or even Gerrard?

NEVER

Rooney before them? No. But been good nonethe less. Henderson before Fernandinho and gerrard. Certainly not a crazy idea. He's been more effective in a poorer team then Fernandinho. In front of toure-no

Marshal

Azpi Cahil Terry Shaw
Toure Fernandinho
Sturridge Aguero Hazard
Saurez

To be honest I think the team should be rightfully dominated by the Chelsea and City players. Saurez and Sturridge are the obvious exceptions. As for Rooney, hes been great, however he has not been exceptional.

I generally think, Chelsea have the best back four, City the best midfield and Liverpool the best forwards.

Chelsea players that should be in it imo are:

John Terry and Azi 100%
Cahill 90%
Cech 90%
Hazard 100%

I don't think Brana is the best RB though

Sturridge has been banging them in since opening day - he's been outstanding

Yes white wall they did. Shows an obvious bias against Chelsea.

I'd have

Cech
Azpi terry Cahill shaw
Toure Henderson
Sturridge hazard
Aguero Suarez

This season so far

-------------------De Gea--------------

Smalling------Terry------Ferdinand------Cole

------------------------Jones---------------------------
Milner-------Lampard-------Gerrard-------Giggs

--------Rooney------------Sturridge---

Suarez too inconsistent in 2nd half of the season. It's about a full season not just a couple of games where Suarez scored.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Terry & Gerrard....seriously...

I got no issue with the rest...
