Aguero vs Stoke away on a wet, winters evening or Carroll vs Stoke away on a wet, winters evening. I know which one I'd want.
Aguero or Carroll?

I can say that based on the 30 minutes i saw of him on Monday night , i think Aguero looks quicker, sharper and more talented that Rooney and he is not even fully fit yet, that is my opinion.

Also (and this may not have been so clear), I rarely watch the EPL, so I'm not claiming to be an oracle on the subject of who's the best. I was just offering my opinion on what I have seen.

to be fair, you're not really in a position to judge then are you
Aguero looks a good player but I'll give him a season before making a firm judgement on being the best stroker in the Premier league

According to Nike, Rooney is the quickest player in the league outside of Walcott and Agboulghor.
Just his frame makes him look deceptively slow. As for sharpness, Rooney scores more goals, that my friend, is called sharpness in and around the box, I couldnt care less if Aguero is more agile anywhere else on the pitch.
both talented but Aguero has achieved next to nothing in world football yet. Rooney has wone verything there is to win in England

He outpaced half the arsenal team and the last 20yards he was lightning

I understand your point, however what would Rooney have won if he would have stayed at Everton, or played for Athletico Madrid. What would Aguero have won if he would have played for Real or Barca?
You can not answer those questions, its all ifs and buts. I am not saying that aguero is or will be better than rooney. Only time will tell, when they are both playing in the same league, against the same opposition. Besides which, who cares?

"Rooney has wone verything there is to win in England "
So has John O'Shea. Does that mean he's better than Totti? Or Matt Le Tissier
"to be fair, you're not really in a position to judge then are you"
As I said, I'm not offering it as expert analysis. But I think I've seen enough to form an opinion. And my opinion is he is better than any other strikers in the EPL, apart from possibly Tevez (who is likley to leave) and an on-form Torres.

Nike would say he's fast since he's their poster boy. Rooney is a weapon according to their latest adverts. I cant disagree with that.
