Let's assume Moyes is replaced and we start next season with a new manager, new backroom staff and (hopefully) some new players.
How long will this man be given?
The current lack of confidence will take a fair while to turn around, so will that be factored in?
Will the level of patience given by the fans be linked to how well that manager has done at previous clubs?
If so, will that over-ride any poor results of struggles that his first seasons brings?
An awful lot of the Moyes in and Moyes out articles have featured comments about how little Moyes has achieved during his career so far and how a proven winner should be brought in instead.
My question really is....
If Moyes had 3 Serie A titles, 2 La Liga titles and a CL under his belt, would people be more patient?
How long?

Benitez had won la liga and a CL when he moved to Inter... Surely that was enough to guarantee success?
Or, is it just possible that football is a little more complex than the paint by numbers game some of you seem to think it is?

if i see that we create more than 1 chance a match and our main source of goals isn't from corners and free kicks then i'll be happy.
the lack of shooting, chance creating and just anything this season is crazy, matches have been so boring, so much that i have fallen asleep during a few of them.
moyes has nothing, no plan, no tactics, absolutely feck all, as long as a new manager can show us a glimmer of hope at the end of a long tunnel, win or lose, then im happy.

I do not believe anyone has suggested they will guarantee success but that they will do a better job than the current manager.
That is the point of this debate

Ji, Re last season.
Coming 2nd to the best team in the world in both the league and champions league is a fine achievement. They got put out of the German Cup by Munich as well. Doing it after losing your player of the year against a team with unparalleled financial might should also be considered.

But they were still 20+ points behind and on a par with teams/managers that I guarantee all of these Klopp fans would turn their noses up at.

who cares?
as long as a new manager comes in and gets us playing some better stuff than whats currently happening then i am sure most of us would be fine, win or lose.
we all understand that after SAF it would be hard..

But saying because Klopp did well in German means that he will do well in the PL isn't?
Anyway, like i've said.. I do rate Klopp and like him... I just think people on here need a wake up call about how he might do in the PL when you consider that his team have been about on par with Levekusen for the last 2 years.

Klopp has a squad of about 13 players. Beyond that core, there is nothing. Our squad isn't spectacular but there is a lot more depth than at Dortmund.
Klopp would do a better job than Moyes, I am sure of tgat. He would come in and be the complete opposite of what we currently have. Confident, relaxed and with a clear identity and style. What we need is exactly that, a total contrast to what we are currently lumbered with
