While in the pub last night with a few mates all the talk turned to the upcoming semi final between ourselves and The Rangers.

The The Rangers fan thinks that only 2 of the current United team would get into the current Rangers first team, one being Gauld and the other being Wilson.

He said he would play Ian Black ahead of Rankin and Paton and that Black is one of the best midfielders in Scotland, he also said that Daly was one of the best strikers in Scotland...this level of disillusionment is perfect and could play directly into our hands

Also I have a £20 bet on with a Dunfermline supporter that we will win, and for the first time in my betting career with mates it was a no brainer.

I can see it being a close game to half time but I can see us taking advantage of the fact that we're used to playing at a higher tempo week in week out and what I believe will be our better fitness levels and then as we do to Premier League teams pick them off towards the end of the game.

Also, said The Rangers and The Dunfermline supporter also thought that if The Rangers were in the Premier League this season they would finish second....I hadn't laughed that much in ages

well they should have thought of that.....

but Pete wasn't taking the chance of his team being there and missing out on his ground getting the show piece hence he had it carved in stone.

What are you on about? It doesn't matter now as Celtic are out. So its best to switch it to parkhead.

it would have been better had they waited to see if this issue came up....
I said this at the time...

But Pete wanted the deal done nice and early....

They may still be able to change it but it will now be contractual as Pete insisted and would not have wanted it questioned were it Celtic in the final.

Pressure is on Rangers now to perform in front of there season ticket holders, if United skelp them then they'll be under pressure to spend for the 1st division

Much like tic fans saying at the time when the final was announced at parkhead , "just get on with it" , now they are moaning about the semi being at ibrox

Celtic fans don't give a monkeys chuff where the final is, we ain't in it...But we will happily cash the cheque for staging it at Celtic Park, the pre-eminent stadium in Scotland..
