The Posh V The Spirerites (JPT - Final)

Peterborough entertain Chesterfield in the Watching Paint Dry Trophy Final at Wembley on Sunday.

It'll be a great day out for both teams and their fans, and a respite from fighting for promotion.

The Posh should win, however, the Spirerites are near the top of League Two with a proud history, so a Posh win is by no means guaranteed, especially taking into account recent results (if not, actual form).

We'll be missing Nicky Ajose and a number of other cup-tied players, and I hope that captain Tommy Rowe will be back from injury.

I'll be there flying a Posh flag - C'mon the Posh!

Two years ago we were in the same position, except we were the aspiring League 2 team and Chesterfield were on the way down from League 1. We all expected to win but it didnt go that way due to an own goal from Risser (probably di Canios worst signing and thats saying something) and a late goal. That said it was a good occasion with good natured fans on both sides.

Good luck and enjoy the day

2pm kick-off - live on Sky Sports 3 from 1.30pm - highlights at 11.25pm on BBC1.

Don will be happy with his side's (Swindon's) result - I point behind us now.

Hope it's as sunny tomorrow as it was here today.

Leaving Thorney now for the supporters' coach

Hoping that it will be a cracking game, that Posh play well, and for a Posh win - C'mon the Posh!

Great win by peterborough. The pundits and kevin davies going on agbout chesterfield having more chances is rubbish. We created most of the clear chances and tested there keeper more even with 10 men. It took them like 92nd minute to test our keeper.

Good day out and a good result. Fair do's to Chesterfield who played well. We took our chances better, though. Loanee winger, Isgrove, from Southampton, excelled when he came on as a sub. I'd like to see him start against Colchester on Wednesday. Can we return to Wembley?
