Being top of the PL in the run in or tucked in just behind playing catch up?
Will it affect Liverpool's form or will they simply carry on?
Which has the most pressure...

Yes being top adds pressure but I have confidence that the team will cope with it. Rodgers has done a good job of preparing them for games and we have performed well when knowing that we had to win to keep intouch.

We have basically secured CL football for next season. That was the goal for this season. Anything above that is a bonus. I don't think that the players are feeling much pressure because the primary goal has been (pretty much) achieved, and nobody expects them to win it.
City and Chelsea were expected to challenge and one of them win. So that to me means there is more pressure on those players than ours.

I disagree. Now that Liverpool is in top spot with only six games on, the pressure is on them to win the league, and anything less than that will feel like a failure. Liverpool fans will admit that to themselves deep down.

I agree that there is now pressure with us being top. But I also agree with The God Fowler, we have pretty much achieved what we were aiming for at the start of the season and so in that sense the pressure that was on us at the start of the season is now off, and we can just enjoy the rest of the season and see where it takes us. Other teams might have bottled the chance to go top of the league at the weekend, we grabbed that chance with both hands.

You deserve it, as much as it pains me to admit that.

Pool aint been there since Adam was a lad....they have no track record to go by (unlike Utd in recent seasons under SAF) whether they play well or just scrape results
This aint over yet - all good for the viewer
City still just favourites

The only problem I see is if they suddenly start thinking about winning the title. The game vs City will be the decider.

Kenny Dalglish said something recently which pretty much summed the situation when a team is fighting for the league title and at the top of the table. He said that there is definite pressure when a side is top especially approaching the later stages of the season. But for opposition there is the pressure of facing the top placed team. Both different types of pressures of course and can work both ways but one certainty though is that playing at Anfield for City and Chelsea will come with pressure and neither our players or the crowd will make it easy for them to come and win.
For us it has been a remarkable season and to come this close is remarkable and it is going to be one heck of a finish which everybody will enjoy apart from maybe the United fans.

I think Rodgers will drill into every single player's mind that they can't afford to let their minds wander. He seems excellent at keeping the players' feet on the ground and helping them stay focused.

Team which is chasing top spot is under more pressure but motivation gets less when a team and players are number one.Thats not my opinion but a natural thing.
