The Sheffield Star has reported that Wednesday have made an offer for the Dagenham winger. Unfortunately, recently promoted Peterborough are also interested in the prolific midfield player.
Green scored 13 goals from midfield and was probably L1's best midfield player. He would be a great addition if we want to get promoted & will be far more useful than David Prutton.

I think he would be a great acquisition. We need some young, determined, and fearless kids to inject some energy and belief back into our squad. We have too many lazy, clueless hangers on at Hillsborough, kick a few out and get these kids in.

Green is currently on only £1.5k per week so we can easily double his wages & he will still be on less than half what JOC gets. I suspect that the fee will top £500k now.

Not sure what we have bid but Peterboro had £300k turned down. We should bid £500k plus £250k if we get promoted. That should seal the deal.

That it was a ridiculous statement from a supporter of a League 1 club.
Are we expected to be competing with Premiership sides for the new players we want to bring in!?
