With Maguire and Bryson looking pretty much done deals and Ward, Fielding and Robinson signed how do you feel about these transfers?
Maguire I think from what I have seen of him could be a good signing if we get the right players around him but his current record could be better. Bryson I know little about except he is Kilmarnock's captain and from what there manager is saying a good player that they wished would stay. Of the three we have already signed Ward and Fielding look like they will strengthen the team straight away. Robinson has a lot to prove to me as I dont feel he improves the team at all at the moment.
Tyson changes which team he will be playing for everyday but if he play like he did in the play off semi final could be a good signing with the through balls and good set ups he did in that game. Barnsley look like they have accepted Shackall is leaving but could see Hull beating us there with offering them the instant replacement of McShane. Waghorn has always been a player I have liked and think he would be a good signing but have no idea where he will play alone up front? or the three behind the striker? or will we switch to 442? I would like to know if anyone also knows what is happening with Danny Bujis or has that transfer just fizzled out?
How is it so far?

The players signed so far don't indicate a top 6 position to me. If we hadn't them though I think we would have been definite relegation candidates.
Don't think we should sign Tyson though, not because of his flag waving activities. Can't understand the fuss made when players give the fans back a bit of what the fans give them. If you can't take it don't dish it out. I just think he wont add any extra to the side. His record on goals and injuries at Forest doesn't make him look the most attractive signing.

My view (currently) is that we're heading towards a team that may not hit the highs of this season, but will probably avoid the painful lows. In short, a more reliable & consistent unit. I feel that a top 10 finish would be within our grasp. And, for those of you hoping for it, sorry to disappoint you, but I don't believe Nigel is going anywhere.

I agree with Paulc. Sorry Moj, don't agree with you. Nigel has to deliver this season or else. He will have had time and money (?!) this summer.
Slick hasn't necessarily said as much but reading between the lines this is his last chance to prove his worth.

As long as we give them Red dogs down the A52 a game next season, i will be happy

So that represents the pinnacle of your season then - playing 'quite well' against Forest ??
Your lofty ambitions are indeed there to be admired

Ramsfanbaz: It's true, I've imported my boundless optimism to JA606!
Seriously though, I think we'll improve on this season's finish, and indeed the previous one.
