Next week title business

What a season we've had, and what a difference can the right manager & owners make, kudos to Brendan and John Henry..

Now, today I started have this belief that we're going to win the title. I'm confident that we'll beat City next Sunday and go from there, though there might be a few twists and turns along the way. Personally would be appropriate as I used to watch all the games until this season with me dad (us mostly playing rubbish!!!!) and now he surely wouldn't believe how tables have turned in just this season. And the manner which we've dominated and scored for fun!

Have a bet with my mate that if we're on the course for the title on the 11th, we're flying in for the parade, so see you boys there, get your party hats ready, time to dream!

True...for me is a title decider next week, win and that belief will carry us to the title pluz we will be 7 points ahead of city, too much imo even with city's games in hand.

Funny enough I said to my brother if we win we will be going up tt liverpool for a night out and to see the team.

If we win it and Everton get 4th, It will be a hard day's night on Merseyside. Just a shame Ill be 500 miles away.

True...for me is a title decider next week, win and you take out man citys game in hand advantage while Chelsea beat Swansea then you lose to Chelsea and the titles going to where it should...

Seriously? What a daft thing to say. How any Chelsea fan can claim resources isn't a factor is beyond me

He was actually saying the complete opposite - that resources are a factor.

Fancy Swansea to get something out of their home game against Chelsea.
Win against City, and we are set up nicely.

Can't find figures for 2013 but in 2012 Chelsea spent £54m more than Liverpool in wages. City spent £83m more.

That's not necessarily a problem for you as your turnover is also vastly larger than Liverpool's.

Do you think that could be the resource difference he's referring to?

When we were the biggest spenders they all used to say we were massive failures for not winning the title (which we were, to a degree).

Now we are 4th or 5th biggest a title challenge is not an impressive feat.

"#moronlogic"

Why?

City and Chelsea have spent more, to compete in the two most prestigious club competitions in the world - Liverpool have spent more than most other domestic clubs only competing in (virtually) one game a week.

Why would it surprise you that you are up there in the mix when there is hardly anything to pick between your best XI to City or Chelsea's?
