I'm 22, so I obviously didn't see the title wins of old. My old man said he never thought he'd see us win the league in his lifetime.
When you consider the difference in resources, to be top at this stage is a tremendous achievement. Whatever happens now, it's been a hell of a ride.
True...for me is a title decider next week, win and that belief will carry us to the title pluz we will be 7 points ahead of city, too much imo even with city's games in hand.
Funny enough I said to my brother if we win we will be going up tt liverpool for a night out and to see the team.

If we win it and Everton get 4th, It will be a hard day's night on Merseyside. Just a shame Ill be 500 miles away.

Seriously? What a daft thing to say. How any Chelsea fan can claim resources isn't a factor is beyond me

He was actually saying the complete opposite - that resources are a factor.
Fancy Swansea to get something out of their home game against Chelsea.
Win against City, and we are set up nicely.

Can't find figures for 2013 but in 2012 Chelsea spent £54m more than Liverpool in wages. City spent £83m more.
That's not necessarily a problem for you as your turnover is also vastly larger than Liverpool's.
Do you think that could be the resource difference he's referring to?

When we were the biggest spenders they all used to say we were massive failures for not winning the title (which we were, to a degree).
Now we are 4th or 5th biggest a title challenge is not an impressive feat.

Why?
City and Chelsea have spent more, to compete in the two most prestigious club competitions in the world - Liverpool have spent more than most other domestic clubs only competing in (virtually) one game a week.
Why would it surprise you that you are up there in the mix when there is hardly anything to pick between your best XI to City or Chelsea's?
