Granted, it's a bit late in the season to moan about this, put that down to me being slow on the uptake.
Why, why, why do we only play teams from Yorkshire or those beginning with 'B'?
Barnsley are the worst offenders, dropping annoyingly into BOTH categories.
Only Derby, strangely, break the mind numbingly repetitive fixture syndrome.
Oh, and Yeovil. Oh yeah, Ipswich. And Leicester.
Oops, and Notts Fo........
Why aren't there more teams beginning with 'B'
You know when you wish you hadn't started something?
Teams from Yorkshire and those 'B' teams.

I'm going to get burned at the stake for this, then.
I did buy a Bakewell pudding when on a visit to the veryplace. I found it really greasy and heavy, my wife and son wouldn't finish it either.
The confection sold as Bakewell tart, although I agree is an imposter, I do enjoy.

Which one of the two original Bakewell pudding shops did you visit RID?

It was years ago, Spart, but I do remember the puddings were in a glass case on the counter- it was a very busy shop.

RiD, give Bakewell Pudding another chance! My grandfather was Workhouse master at Bakewell and I use my gran's recipe. It eschews such travesties as cherries and icing!

I felt the need to provide some photographic evidence of me eating the Drogheda Scone. This is probably me at my happiest. Except when we hammer the Dogs 5 nil, of course.

Cat- the cherries I definitely agree should not be found in ANY confectionery, can't stand those glace bloody cherries. Dark, Morello cherries in hot puds- yum.
I'll give the Bakewell Pud another try, you must give me the recipe!
