Passed the point of no return

This is not at all meant to be a negative article, in fact, whichever way you look at it, we've had an incredible season.

Defeat to City would have ended the dream before hope turned to expectation.

However, now that we're actually odds on to win the league for the first time in many fans lifetime, there will be an absolutely crushing disappointment around the city if we don't win.

Am I the only one who's nervous about just how devastating, for the players and fans, it would be to lose it from here?

Our target for this season was top 4.

If arsenal fail to win tonight we secure that goal.

That's not mathematically correct.

If we don't win the league this year I will still hold my head high as a Liverpool fan, the same as I did last season and the seasons gone by, we have already over achieved this season if you listen to everyone, but thats what we are good at winning in adversity.

The season is a comparative triumph given the low expectations of most fans at the start of the season.

However now we are in the driving seat we will have no better chance to take the pressure off not winning the Premier League which has become a rather large burden. You only have to look at Gerrard's reaction to see desperate the team is to hold on.

One things for sure Liverpool want the title more than Chelsea of Man City.

It will be pretty gutting to not win it now, I can't pretend otherwise.

I will still know we have had a superb season and there is much to be positive about and the future looks great, but if we don't win it, especially if Chelsea do with a win at Anfield, it will be really gutting.

I wouldn't begrudge City winning it as much.

All of the 'experts' reckon that this is our one and only chance to win the PL. I find that quite disrespectful, bearing in mind the phenomenal achievements this season thus far. They seem to think that, with the season ended, the big four, namely United, City, Arsenal and Chelsea - even Spurs - will all strengthen, implying that we won't or can't. Well, taking last January for example, we didn't spend, well, anything, we bought no one. And just look where that catastrophic mess has left us!!! The number one position. Enough said.

Jordan

If Arsenal make up a 35 goal swing or whatever it is then fair play to them!
