no there won't!
there just won't.
i'm not nervous at all. it sounds to me like you didn't think we'd win anyway but now we've got past city its all suddenly real.
frankly its no lose cos next season will be even harder so this is just about trying to seize the chance and ride the luck.
if sunderland miracle happens we will see a lot of non beleivers and worriers starting to really beleive.
Of course it would be disappointing, but the fact is you have to look at what has happened this season with a degree of realism.
Before a ball was kicked the vast majority of fans would have taken 4th and CL football as the maximum we could achieve in terms of league finish.
So far this season has been a fairytale. If it has a sad ending then we can still look back on it with an immense amount of pride with CL football in the bag (almost!)

Our target for this season was top 4.
If arsenal fail to win tonight we secure that goal.
Now it should be top 3 and automatic qualification to the Champions League which happens if we better Everton's result this weekend.
Then comes Chelsea. One game at a time.

We can't do anything more than get three points against Norwich this weekend so that's all the team should be focusing on.
It's up to the fans to dream!
Still I'm so nervous about the last games of the season.
It will be a great season even if we finish 3rd.
You just feel that we won't get a better chance to win the league for a long time. If we can do it it will just be unbelievable.
I don't think I will be devastated if we don't win the league. I am way, way happy with the football we play, with the young players developing so impressively, with a manager who uses tactics so well etc.
Don't get me wrong, "I would love it" if we did win it, but still don't think we will. Must admit, I thought we'd be out of it by now!

That's not mathematically correct.

If we don't win the league this year I will still hold my head high as a Liverpool fan, the same as I did last season and the seasons gone by, we have already over achieved this season if you listen to everyone, but thats what we are good at winning in adversity.
The season is a comparative triumph given the low expectations of most fans at the start of the season.
However now we are in the driving seat we will have no better chance to take the pressure off not winning the Premier League which has become a rather large burden. You only have to look at Gerrard's reaction to see desperate the team is to hold on.
One things for sure Liverpool want the title more than Chelsea of Man City.
It will be pretty gutting to not win it now, I can't pretend otherwise.
I will still know we have had a superb season and there is much to be positive about and the future looks great, but if we don't win it, especially if Chelsea do with a win at Anfield, it will be really gutting.
I wouldn't begrudge City winning it as much.
All of the 'experts' reckon that this is our one and only chance to win the PL. I find that quite disrespectful, bearing in mind the phenomenal achievements this season thus far. They seem to think that, with the season ended, the big four, namely United, City, Arsenal and Chelsea - even Spurs - will all strengthen, implying that we won't or can't. Well, taking last January for example, we didn't spend, well, anything, we bought no one. And just look where that catastrophic mess has left us!!! The number one position. Enough said.

If Arsenal make up a 35 goal swing or whatever it is then fair play to them!
