Welbeck (allegedly) wanting to quit!

So the rags i.e Mirror & The Sun turn their attention to Danny wanting out if he's not given more games. For one, Danny has had a good enough run in the team even though, as of late, at Van Persies expense due to his lay-off.

If there is any truth to this, would it be a good time to let him go for financial reasons? Or would you want him gone anyway?

As silly as it sounds selling RVP and convincing hernandes and welbeck might be the best thing to do.

--------

Not so silly tbh. We seem to gel better as a team.

I agree. RVP has been brilliant for us but he can not play with Rooney, there's no chemistry between the two at all and Moyes isn't going to drop Rooney but he doesn't seem to want to drop RVP either.

Rooney up top with Mata behind him with Kagawa has looked slick at times and could be the way to go for next season, this would benefit the team at the expense of the individual (RVP).

He probably wants to leave to play CL football. Who can blame him

Welbeck might be another teams big scorer but still not quite good enough for United, and is trailing in the pecking order. Might be good all round if he goes and we get a decent price for him.

Would he get into Chelsea's, Liverpool or City starting 11 for a CL game? Moreover, would any of them three want him?

ppl who knock welbeck compare him to first choice stikers we have numerous opportunities in other team and conclude he is not good enough.

he is our third choice striker who is played mostly on the wings.yet as similar # of goals this season to eto, benteke, negredo, dzeko, rvp who we you all claim to be much better than welbeck.

If he leaves he does a sturridge. Bookmark this comment

Do people really think Hernandez is a better footballer than Welbeck?

Hernandez as a finisher yes. But footballer? No effin chance, Welbeck is light season ahead. But seeing how Danny's a striker, sometimes I do find myself agreeing with the fans that say Hernandez is the better player ....for the position he was brought into play.
