Sell him and replace him with Zlatan. I love my Zlatan.
I definitely wouldn't want him to go, but I'd understand if his desire for more football meant he wanted to leave.

Guardian are reporting it now as well, may be some truth to it. Hasn't Welbeck played most games recently though?
Arsenal apparently want him A Giroud and Welbeck partnership would be comical.
I heard Naismith might be available if the price is right.

And Hibbert since you lot need a new full back
Would be sad to see a youth product, so highly thought of for years leave, but if he wants out then let him go.
He is hardly a permanent or vital fixture in the side.
If all these rumours happen to be true then there is certainly something fundamentally wrong with Moyes and his coaching staff in their training methods and communication/relationship with the players.
And that is most worrying.
I still would guess it's 50/50 he will get sacked at the end of the season providing they have someone lined up like an Ancelotti or Klopp that is ready and wanting the job, which make no mistake is one of the very top jobs in football
Always rated welbeck for what he is. He is not a first choice striker, he is 23 and our 3rd choice striker and brings a lot to the table. Sturridge was not clinical till last year so there is still some hope for welbeck.
Hernandes wants out as he is too good to be sat on the bench and I will be surprised if he is still here nxt season.
Rvp-rooney partnership has not blossomed and mata might mean we can afford to sell rvp.
As silly as it sounds selling RVP and convincing hernandes and welbeck might be the best thing to do.
He's harldly world class. If he wants to leave let him.

I agree
Can hardly blame him for wanting out.
1. He's a striker that isn't played as a striker most of the time.
2. Rooney for sure and it looks like RVP is also staying.
3. His manager is David Moyes.
I personally don't want him to go. When he plays he gives us pace and an out ball. We look a better team with him in the side, even if it's on the wing. I'd have Welbeck cutting in from the left every day of the week before Young.
If he's sold we need to replace him with some pace as he's the only forward we have who can get in behind really. Hernandez looks like he'll be off too.

Would he suit our style of play or the style of play we would want to play as we dont have one right now

It's probably BS anyway guys. He was out partying after the Bayern Defeat and he got a slap on wrists.
Media probably just putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 5, as per usual.
If I was a betting man, Danny will still be a Utd player next season.
As silly as it sounds selling RVP and convincing hernandes and welbeck might be the best thing to do.

Not so silly tbh. We seem to gel better as a team.
He needs to leave to improve himself. Playing second fiddle is the worst thing for him. He needs a constant run of games in front of goal to fulfil his potential
IMO, we can only have 2 of rooney/rvp/mata on the pitch at any1 time especially in the big games. So someone has to miss out (RVP). And RVP will leave if he is not 1st pick and rightly so.
This might be the key to keeping hernandes and welbeck who due to his versatility will get games regardless.
with hernandes as rooney's backup and welbeck 3rd choice as he currently is but also getting game time out wide with valencia and young gone.
If we do this we can even bring in one more wide player without disrupting the balance of the squad with januzaj dropping to the bench.
------------------ midfield-----midfield---------
----januzaj/rw-------mata/kagawa-----kagawa/januzaj---
--------------------rooney/hernandes-------------------------
Just another typical media story, it's not difficult to speculate that a player who is not automatic first-choice in a team that has underperformed might want away, and of course it can roll and roll on forums like these, which then makes it all sound 'true'.
And of course if Wellbeck did leave, the media are quick to pat themselves on the back for their exclusive.......
Would be surprised if Wellbeck left right now, if his sitauation / Utd's success doesn't change over the next couple of years, then he may wish to leave, but he'll probably want to see how next season turns out. Would be surprised if Moyes wanted to get rid of a good squad player, and barring a real silly money offer, hard to see him leaving.
also regarding the fine
when was it against the law to go clubbing, I worked as a barman in one of deansgates nightclubs. Players came all the time post matches it was nothing abnormal.
Moyes reactionary management gets me so vexed, the media print a story and he fines the players for what they have always done,
A top Coach like Rodgers, Wenger or Van Gaal would do wonders with Welbeck. Look what Rodgers has done with Stirling.
Both Wenger and Van Gaal are great coaches and there ability to improve players and take them to the next level is incredible.
I hope Welbeck doesn't go and we get a top coach that can make him the world beater he has the potential to be.
Wont be a huge loss to us if he leaves.
We should concentrate on buying a top class left winger this window instead of playing him as a carthorse in big games.
There are already 3 strikers better than him at the club

I agree. RVP has been brilliant for us but he can not play with Rooney, there's no chemistry between the two at all and Moyes isn't going to drop Rooney but he doesn't seem to want to drop RVP either.
Rooney up top with Mata behind him with Kagawa has looked slick at times and could be the way to go for next season, this would benefit the team at the expense of the individual (RVP).
He probably wants to leave to play CL football. Who can blame him
