Laurent Blanc (PSG manager) has declared that the french club are interested in signing both of David Luiz and Oscar. PSG pulled off a similar deal 2 years ago in order to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva.
I can see Chelsea selling David Luiz for the right money. I don't think he will ever work as a CB for Chelsea and with Zouma coming in over the summer the money would be spent elsewhere. Luiz himself has also stated his love of Paris and would enjoy playing regularly at CB with Silva.
Oscar has finished the season poorly after a good start to the season. Again Chelsea still have good attacking midfielders on loan so maybe Oscar could be sacrificed.
I also feel that a switch back to 4-3-3 would suit Chelsea right now so Oscar may feature less due to that.
How much money would even tempt Chelsea to sell these two though? I'd wait til after the world cup as Luiz is bound to have a blinding tournament.

£150million for both of them or $300 million in dollars (as per the exchange rate and all that gas)

I agree to a degree but your comment about Luiz always being liable to getting sent off warrants a question. How many times in his Chelsea years has David Luiz got recklessly sent off?

Doesn't mean he shouldn't have been though does it? Every time I see him play he does something reckless, he is a very dirty player and I know that's not nice to hear about your players, but it's true.

He may be dirty but he's a good player who has attracted the attention of a very rich club.
Roy Keane was a dirty player. Did you want him out of the club Busby? If your old enough to remember Nobby Stiles was a hatchet man with little else to offer but these two did important jobs although Keane could play tbf

This would be great news. If we could sell Oscar for 30 and luiz for 10 I'd be happy.

If we do this we seriously need to look at ourselves as a club. If we sell Oscar who exactly will we replace him with? A 27/28 midfielder at their peak at more or less the same fee we would get for Oscar? I remember a young lad we bought from West Ham, his first 2 season werent too bad but he was young and we stood by him and helped him grow, over 10 years later he is still at the club after he become a team legend. Why oh why would we sell one of our top prospects because he had a quiet 6 months? Lets be honest we know Hazard will leave at some point but who else can you say at the moment has the potential that Oscar does very few. Stupid stupid idea. Luiz on the other hand i dont know. Good versatile player who atm is our best partner for matic. Though that being said one of him and mikel need to leave. I think the days of Luiz as a cb at CFC are over

Interesting point and I do agree with the principle.
Having said that I don't think that Oscar will ever be another Super Frank.
If we were to get a stupid money offer from PSG this summer then I'd be tempted.
The question we have to ask is why did Oscar fall away so badly this season?
We can't afford to carry players through large chunks of the season like we've done with Oscar in the second half of this season.

Oscar has played close to 200 games in 2 years. This will be his 4th year in a row where he doesn't get the summer off. Previously he had the U21 WC, then the Olympics, then the Confederations Cup and now the WC. He has been playing without a break for so long that fatigue and tiredness would inevitably end up affecting his performances.
He is extremely talented and it isn't a coincidence that our team was at it's best when Oscar was performing. I think it would be very silly to let him go considering he could become one the best players in the world in his position.

Superb my biggish issue now is diminishing returns. We have done well in FFP and to stay there we need a bit of investment from Roman every once in a while and to buy and sell well. Now this doesnt including taking a 22 year old up and comer and selling him for 40million or what ever then spending that on a current peak player around 27/28 years old, having a few good seasons, selling this guy on for close to 0 and starting the cycle again. I stand by my prediction Oscar will be the most important player for Brazil as they go on to win the world cup, yes even more so than Neymar. And lets be honest who is available for reasonable money to replace Oscar to the same level?

We wouldn't have to buy a 27/28 year old replacement.
Even if we did we wouldn't necessarily have to spend £40 million on him.
As a club we need to stop making these kind of rookie mistakes in the transfer market and start spending wisely on players we actually need who are in the right age bracket.
Surely it's not too much to ask.
