All these silly rumours are doing my head in especially as we're supposedly ready to throw away big money in less important areas. Give us a bit of money and everyone wants us to go bonkers with it. For me the only positions where £20m+ should be splashed on is ST & DM. Spending that much elsewhere will affect our ability to get top quality in those 2 roles. Why £25+ for Di Maria/Sanchez? Yes both very good players but we're not desperate for wingers and we have alternatives in Joel Campbell's possible return and Vela's buy-back fee, much sensible choices
Then thirdly a good RB should be the target why haven't we sorted this yet either? Cesc Fabregas should be the only player we splash on that we don't need we all understand he's an exception. People seem to be talking about how Giroud can prosper with the right players around him... I don't want to hear that he can't start for us next year WHERE IS OUR STRIKER???!!!!
Also a CB I have a feeling Wenger might get caught in the hype and risk a few positions. A ST, DM, RB (Spash)...... CB, WM (cheaper)

You said we should accept we will struggle to get a striker yes that's accepted but we have to try especially as we'll even struggle to get the likes of Sanchez and Di Maria anyway you think we'll be the only parties interested? Lets at least struggle for the bigger priorities... don't see how a top quality striker is hard to get when both Spanish giants have plans to keep those 2 players anyway.
Might aswell look into the Cavani situation as PSG will have to comply with FFP having just brought Luiz. With strikers we are mainly competing with Chelsea they can't get all D.Costa, Cavani and Benzema in can they. Those are the struggles we should be concerned with

Balotelli

Convert Draxler
Look at the Lukaku situation they did sell to United....
These will go well with Vela/Campbell as wide options
Then there's easier options like
Remy
Bony
Heck even Welbeck over Giroud/Sanogo will do for now
These easier options can be brought alongside your Di Maria's and Sanchez' if you like but I want us to target the big striker options first that is more important than anything.

Good list to be fair. Until Welbeck You definitely underrate Giroud, but obviously he is still a bit carp.

Cavani won't represent any value so I can't see Wenger doing it, Muller I don't think would leave and Balotelli would be my choice but huge risk all the same.

Welbeck will suit us more than Giroud maybe he'd shine at a West Ham or Chelsea but for the type of team we are Giroud hinders us and here you could sign your lower more realist forwards with Di Maria/Sanchez.
Balo's talents make it a risk worth taking. My point is we have to at least try with the bigger risks before settling for other areas.
